Get Meloetta players must complete a round of collecting exploration points and then activate a special scan by talking to Phillip at the Rust Syndicate.
Players will notice that an unknown distortion has appeared somewhere on the map. It must be the yellow unknown distortion, not the red (that's the combat zone).
Now players must go there with a level 100+ donut ready and then save their game at the entrance to Distortion. Players shouldn't worry too much about the Day/Night cycle (which resets the normal distortion) as this special wild zone doesn't move from where it spawned. The problem is: This Rift contains a random Pokemon from uncapped Legendaries introduced in Mega size.
To get Meloetta, players will need to enter the rift and wait for Corbeau to speak to them. They notice an animation where their character starts to look around and then receive a call from the Rust Syndicate to explain which Pokemon is nearby. If the message says: 'We are finding a Meloetta near you. Go grab it' then it's time to look.
Meloetta often appears in the atrium of Hyperspace Lumiose's 'shops', it's a long gallery and the only entrance to the building players will find in this Distortion, so they can't miss it.
