Where to find WPS roof key in Hot On The Trail

During the Hot on the Trail mission v Stalker 2: Heart of ChernobylThe skiff arrives at the waste processing station when it hears a radio transmission from the survivors. Upon reaching the station, players encounter Jumper and Blueish, the only survivors. Jumper explains how there is a monster in the facility that has taken over everyone, including his friend Bluish.

Jumper asks Skif to take down the creature in exchange for the hideout code. However, in order to get to the bottom of the facility, Skif must obtain a key from a worker named North located on the roof of the WPS. This will start it Shift Changing the side task, during which Skif must obtain the WPS key and get to the bottom of the waste processing station to confront the creature.

Arrival at the warehouse

First, exit the room and continue across the bridge to the main waste processing station building. Go through the first building and go around the right side of the second building. Continue hugging the wall to the left and you'll reach a door opened by a zombified soldier. Shoot him in the head and enter the warehouse.

We're heading for the WPS roof

Upon entering the warehouse, you will see a set of stairs leading to the upper platform. Head up the stairs and onto the platform, you'll come across a dead body lying on the railing. Right next to it is an area you can jump from and land on a container in the middle of the warehouse.

Use the container as a bridge to get to the other side of the warehouse. Now get to the upper platform and climb up a ladder that will take you to the roof of the WPS.

Getting the key from North's body

Once you get to the roof, walk towards the end until you reach a chair with a converted metal shed as an umbrella. Stand on the ledge and look down at the pipes to see North's body.

Carefully jump down onto the middle pipe and loot the corpse to get the WPS Roof Key. You can now progress through the “Shift Change” side quest and the “Hot on the Trail” main quest side by side.
