Why Straw Hats Are The Weakest Yonko Crew

The Straw Hat Pirates are the main characters One pieceand thus they are almost always involved in every single story arc. The crew has been through a lot together and these experiences have only strengthened their bond.

The crew fought against a lot of powerful enemies, and one of their biggest challenges came in Wano when they faced off against Kaido and his Beasts Pirates. At times it looked like the Straw Hats wouldn't make it, but they persevered with sheer will. After taking down the Beasts Pirates, the World Government declared Luffy a Yonko. This led to an increase in the Straw Hats' rewards and also caused their infamy to increase. It cannot be denied that the crew is extremely strong, but at the same time, they are the weakest crew in Yonko v One piece.

The Straw Hat Pirates have had several successful fighters who have been responsible for some of the biggest upsets in the story. The most notable of these are:

• Monkey D. Luffy

• Roronoa Zoro

• Sanji

All three are part of the Monster Trio and have remarkable victories to their credit. Apart from them, the crew has no other fighter to challenge the Yonko commander. While Robin and Jimbei are great fighters, even they are powerless against such a character. This affects the overall strength of the crew and puts them at risk when fighting other pirate crews.

For example, if the Straw Hat Pirates crossed paths with the Blackbeard Pirates or the Redhead Pirates, they would be completely wiped out. Even if the Monster Trio could hold their own, the rest of the crew would no doubt fall. Naturally, those who won gave backup to their fellow crew members, eventually leading to the Monster Trio being overpowered.

The only other Yonko crew that the Straw Hats really have a chance of defeating is the Cross Guild, and even then they would have to defeat Dracula Mihawk and Crocodile, two of the most skilled fighters in One Piece.

Oda needs to give the heroes more abilities

The Straw Hat Pirates are currently fighting Imu and the Holy Knights for the survival of Elbaf. For most of the arc, they were unable to deal any damage to the Holy Knights, but that slowly began to change. With Loki on their side, the Straw Pirates have a much better chance of defeating the Holy Knights.

Since the crew has been fighting for survival in two consecutive arcs, it makes sense that they would gain new powers that will allow them to face any new threats. So far, none of the Straw Hats except Luffy have the means to defeat a Saint Knight or an Admiral. If this continues, the Straw Hats will be in for a rude awakening. They cannot expect others to rescue them. The Giants saved them in Egghead and in Elbaf, but it's not sustainable at all. They will eventually disintegrate and be destroyed.

Because of this, it is imperative that Oda give them a power-up so that they can fend for themselves. The author must start with the Monster Trio and give them new Haki skills to bypass the regeneration abilities of the Holy Knights, the Five Elders, and Imu. The rest of the Straw Hats also need Haki or Devil Fruits or an upgrade to their technology. Once Oda fixes these issues, the Straw Hats will be much more dangerous and able to fight any threat without too much trouble.
