While Danhausen's debut was met with confusion due to how little attention the company's fans pay to wrestling outside of the WWE bubble, it didn't take long for him to come out of it. An extraordinary character with his unique sense of humor, distinctive mannerisms, goofy way of speaking, and instantly recognizable face paint, Danhausen was able to win over the WWE fan base with his cursing. The “Very Nice, Very Bad” wrestler has had some hilarious backstage segments, such as one with Dirty Dome that saw him seemingly cause Mysterio to lose the championship, but the backstage segments can't determine the overall ranking in WWE 2K26.
Danhausen can be fun to watch on indies, with hilarious moments like the Tequila Dance over the years, but he's not an in-ring performer like Kenny Omega or Bryan Danielson. His limited moveset and small size could be a key reason why he still wrestles in a WWE ring, and there's no telling when that will change. He might end up teaming with a proven wrestler, similar to fellow comedy wrestler R-Truth (and Danhausen's own AEW work, as he shined most when paired with Hook). At the time of writing, however, there is absolutely nothing that can be done, giving Visual Concepts two options for Danhausen WWE 2K26 rating: fair or funny.
WWE 2K26 Rolls Out Patch 1.07
2K is releasing its 1.07 update for WWE 2K26, which brings a number of bug fixes to the latest entry in the year-old wrestling franchise.
Realistic ratings for Danhausen in WWE 2K26
If Visual Concepts wants to keep Danhausen tame, somewhere in the mid-70s would make sense. This would put him in good company with some other comedic and offbeat wrestlers such as:
-
Akira Tozawa (68)
-
Grayson Waller (73)
-
Doink the Clown (74)
-
The Boogeyman (74)
-
Hurricane (75)
-
R-Truth (80)
-
Joe Hendry (80)
Danhausen is around 77 overall would make sense as he is a very new addition to the roster that is less proven than a star like Joe Hendry or R-Truth. Putting him above wrestlers who have matches week in and week out doesn't quite make sense, but giving a teeth-picking vampire a brutally low score like Eric Bischoff's 58 could be seen as burying a new signing. A fairly average score for Danhausen then seems the safest route, although there is a more entertaining opportunity available WWE 2K26 if Visual Concepts is willing to take a little risk.
CM Punk and Danhausen's funny interactions are always a big hit on the internet, and Danhausen, who is 77, would allow another one because he could say he has a higher rating in the game than CM Punk. While the current version of Best in the World has an overall rating of 94, Retro CM Punk only has a score of 74, so Danhausen could technically say there's proof that it's better.
Funny Danhausen's rating could give him a 99 overall
While Super John Cena's 100 Total was special in WWE 2K25the main list of 99 is also rare. Roman Reigns had it in WWE 2K23 when the Tribal Chief storyline was at its peak, but there are no 99 wrestlers in WWE 2K26 yet. Visual Concepts could have a little fun and give Danhausen a 99 rating, then lean on the idea that he has a seemingly mystical power to curse those he doesn't like. A comedic wrestler who is the best superstar in the game would be a fun change of pace and add to the mystique of Danhausen's character if he hasn't had to wrestle yet and yet is still considered the strongest wrestler in the company via the official video game.
While Danhausen's WWE moveset is also a mystery, it's anyone's guess whether Visual Concepts is taking inspiration from his indie matches, pulling moves out of a hat, or simply having Danhausen do the curse and nothing else in the game. His overall rating is similarly puzzling given the lack of in-ring work to pull from, with Danhausen somewhere in the 70s as a safe bet. If WWE 2K26 he wants to be a little messy and have fun with the power of Danhausen's curses, though, giving him a ridiculously high score would make for a very forgettable piece of DLC.
