WWE 2K26 leaks have revealed three possible factions for The Island game mode, as well as some anticipated art that will accompany the game. Now more information has surfaced about The Island, a game mode that was first introduced last year WWE 2K25 cover star Roman Reigns and was built around player-created wrestlers participating in a series of original matches and storylines to try and unseat the Tribal Chief from his role. Insider Gaming Executive Editor Mike Straw revealed via his official Twitter account that he has received information that the next visit to The Island will focus on three fictional WWE Factions: Order of Anarchy, Order of Shadows and Order of Tradition. He didn't provide much more information than the names of the factions, but since Reigns is likely no longer the head of The Island, the faction-based system may indicate that players may choose to ally with various groups of WWE Superstars and other players in a battle for control of the Island.

Rumors from about a week ago claimed that the Island would return WWE 2K26 with big changes, including a completely new story. This set of rumors revealed only the name Order of Anarchy, although it also mentioned the fall of Roman rule and the struggle between factions in the power vacuum left after its defeat. Also according to this set of rumors, the transition between The Island's next mode will be seamless and continuous with the last game, with the game mode's events between WWE 2K25 and WWE 2K26.

Twitter account WWE2K26GOATLEAKER shared an image allegedly found on publisher 2K's support page, showing a banner image of Punk with the game's logo. After winning the then-vacant World Heavyweight Championship from Jey Usa in the tournament finals in early November, Punk is not only one of the company's most recognizable stars, but also holds one of its top belts. Rumors that surfaced in mid-January stated that the show's annual Showcase mode would feature several highlights of Punk's career, and a banner image featuring only him could be a surer sign that such a Showcase will take place.

For now, fans will have to wait for 2K and Visual Concepts to confirm these and many more WWE 2K26 leaks and rumours.
