One of the first Xbox Game Pass updates of the year just arrived, adding 48 games to the Xbox “Stream Your Own Game” library. This latest Xbox Game Pass update brings popular titles such as Disco Elysium, Planet Coasterand Just Cause 3 to the cloud service.
Introduced in 2024 but finally available on consoles in April 2025, Xbox's “Steam Your Own Game” service allows users to play some games they've purchased via cloud streaming. The catch is that in addition to owning the game, the user must be actively subscribed to Xbox Game Pass in order to stream the title. This means users don't need to be an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber to access the streaming service, they can access it on any Game Pass tier, including the cheapest option, Xbox Game Pass Essential.

First reported by TrueAchievements, the latest Xbox Game Pass January 2026 update has added nearly 50 games to the “Stream Your Own Game” library. All of these games can now be played via cloud streaming on a range of devices, including PCs, Xbox consoles and handhelds like the ROG Xbox Ally. Along with the aforementioned Just Cause 3, Disco Elysiumand Planet Coastersome other heavy hitters on this list include Tropico 6, Little Nightmares 3and Bloons TD 6.
Sean Carey from TrueAchievement also pointed this out in his report Titan Quest 2 has just received an official cloud streaming mark on Xbox, even though the game hasn't officially been released on Xbox consoles yet. Released on Steam Early Access on August 1, 2025, Titan Quest 2 it has received several major updates since its launch, but there has been no official word on when it might be fully released on PC and other platforms. This recent cloud streaming brand might indicate that Titan Quest 2 could be coming to Xbox soon, but that's far from an official confirmation from developer Grimoire Games or publisher THQ Nordic.
When Xbox's Stream Your Own Game service debuted on consoles in April 2025, there were more than 100 games. This list grew exponentially every month, with hundreds of new titles arriving throughout 2025. More than 180 games came to the service in September alone. Among the biggest additions to the Stream Your Own Game library in 2025 is Xbox Game Pass Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Resident Evil 2 and 3, Borderlands 4, Helldivers 2and Dying Light: The Beast. It seems very likely that Xbox will continue to add new games to the service throughout 2026, especially if the company maintains its “Xbox Play Anywhere” marketing strategy.
