ZA basically showed off all 19 Mega Dimension DLC Mega Evolutions

Pokemon Legends: ZA released just three weeks ago to mixed reception, with some fans of the series loving it as an exploration game with tons of customization options and others disliking its gameplay loop and how it changes the tried and true turn-based formula for battles. Although the game was released very recently, there is already a new DLC trailer showing some of the features and returning Pokemon to expect when it launches on December 10th. Pokemon Legends: ZAMega Evolutions play a huge role in its hype and success, and it's no surprise that DLC will add more. However, today's trailer didn't just showcase Mega Chimecho and Baxcalibur, but also all the remaining 17 Megas from the DLC.

Pokemon Legends: ZAMega Chimecho and Baxcalibur are already well-received by fans due to their improved design over the original creatures, and many players are wondering what the main activities in Hyperspace Lumiose will look like. While there are some hints of potential roguelike features for the DLC, one of the main draws of Mega Dimension is that it will feature several new Mega Evolutions for you to play with, as well as many returning Pokemon. Since both Chimecho and Baxcalibur have already been revealed to have a new Mega, this acts as confirmation for all the other Mega Evolutions on the leaked list. This includes:

  • Raichu X (Electric, or Electric/Dark)

  • Raichu Y (Electric, possibly Electric/Combat)

  • Chimecho (Psychic/Steel)

  • Absol (TBD, probably keeps Dark and inverts the current Mega Absol design by making the black part dominant and the white part complementary)

  • Staraptor (TBD)

  • Garchomp (TBD, probably losing land to water or fire)

  • Lucario (TBD, probably losing Steel to Psychic)

  • Heatran (TBD, likely to remain Fire/Steel)

  • Darkrai (TBD)

  • Golurk (TBD)

  • meowstic (TBD)

  • Crabbombable (TBD)

  • Golisopod (TBD)

  • Magearna (TBD)

  • Zeraora (TBD, likely to stay electric or gain combat)

  • Scovillain (TBD, likely to remain Grass/Fire)

  • Glimmora (TBD)

  • tatsugiri (TBD)

  • Baxcalibur (Dragon/Ice)

Scovillain and Heatran will probably keep their original types since they are the only Pokemon with them. Garchomp can easily build on the lava's Pokedex entries or play into its shark-like appearance. Lucario could get Psychic to better reflect its nature as an Aura Pokemon.

Say Hello to Pokemon Legends: ZA's List of Confirmed DLC Mega Evolutions

The leaked list was reported on Twitter by Centro Leaks after dataminers found scrubbed data for all the different Megas and their Pokedex numbers in the game's files. Pokemon Legends: ZA came out. The list did not include Mega Heatran, Darkrai, and Zeraora as they were already revealed as their Mega Stones were found in the game files.

Baxcalibur on the list is particularly interesting as dataminers had doubts about the Mega Evolutions list due to a leaked Pokedex for Pokemon Legends: ZAThe DLC doesn't have data for the Gen 9 animals. However, Baxcalibur is very much in the game and so is Annihilape, proving that the leaks were true all along, as well as the leaked Mega Evolutions for the remaining Gen 9 Pokemon – Scovillain, Glimmora, and Tatsugiri.

Since Mega Pyroar from Pokemon Legends: ZA combines the gender differences for male and female Pyroar in a single Mega, it is likely that Tatsugiri will also get a Mega that combines his different colors.

Another interesting detail is that both Magearna and Glimmora are on the list and have a flowery look reminiscent of the ultimate weapon or even Ange in Pokemon Legends: ZA. This could be a coincidence, but it seems likely that these two Pokémon will have Mega Evolutions that resemble the Ultimate Weapon from the Gen 6 or Ange games. What the new Megas DLC will look like remains to be seen, but with Chimecho and Baxcalibur confirmed, this list should be almost completely accurate, if not completely.
