It seems they saved them and intended to use them Pokemon Legends: ZA's save-and-reset shiny hunting method to ensure they caught it, but according to the Redditor, they did it on the first try. If nothing else, these are the adjustments that will ensure that Shiny Pokémon remain special and in the hearts of fans around the world.
Over time, shiny pokemon have become more and more common, and it is even possible to complete live shiny pokedexes in games such as Scarlet and purple. This is a far cry from the achievements of earlier games, even if it was technically possible. Still, the introduction of Alpha Pokemon and other parameters ensures that there will always be a way to encounter truly rare, truly awesome Pokemon.
