ZA Player just caught Garchomp in Wild Zone 1

Pokemon Legends: ZA's Wild Zone 1 is your introduction to the game. It features seven incredibly beginner-friendly Pokemon to ease your experience, with Weedle, Scatterbug, Fletchling, Pichu, Pidgey, Mareep, and Bunnleby making it their home.

Unsurprisingly, players are selling Legends: ZA's Shiny Pokemon, with some sales reaching $300

One Legends: ZA player, not happy with the number of Pokemon in Wild Zone 1, was able to drag Alpha Garchomp all the way from Wild Zone 20 to Zone 1, just because his info said it was found in Zone 1.

The player now has a likely unique Garchomp in Pokémon Legends: ZA

It all started when Legends: ZA player xxxZer0 shared that Garchomp was able to escape Wild Zone 20 using Dig. They were probably coaxing the Pokémon to the edge of the zone to use the six shiny Alpha Hunter Blasts as they burrowed under the barrier and rampaged through the streets of Lumiose City.

In the Reddit thread where xxxZer0 originally posted his find, another player challenged them to take the Pokemon to Wild Zone 1, and Zer0 obliged. Shortly after, they posted a picture of said Garchomp, caught in a Heavy Ball, with the caption: “We first met on 11/20/2025. Location: Wild Zone 1.” It is almost certain that this is the only Garchomp ever caught in this location.

The mission to get Garchomp from Wild Zone 20 to Wild Zone 1 will not be easy. Upon leaving Zone 20, Ground- and Dragon-type Pokémon would register a new spawn outside. Although he would chase Zer0 for a while, once he got too far he would run back to his new spawn. This means that every 50 meters or so, the player would have to drop a hard save, close the game completely, and then reload, giving Garchomp a new spawn. Although there is a straight line from Zone 20 to Zone 1, there was a slight miscalculation and Garchomp would run back to his home.

The mission the player undertook was ultimately pointless, but we have to commend them for the effort they went through to obtain this unique 'Chomp.
