The Dragon Ball The franchise is no stranger to performance scaling. In fact, many fans attribute much of the power scaling culture to a large part of the series' influence, due to how it handles characters, power-ups, and techniques.

Throughout the series, fans have seen many incredible techniques that are powerful enough to destroy entire planets. There are some attacks that are extremely powerful for the world Dragon Ballbut the strongest of these can one-shot the person they are used against.

The death ball managed to destroy the entire planet

Over the years, Frieza has proven to be more than just the best and most iconic villain out there Dragon Ball story, but also the most powerful. In his first appearance during the Namek Saga, Frieza showed his power with the Death Ball, which was his strongest attack in many forms.

The most famous use of this destructive attack was when Frieza used it against the entire Saiyan race, effortlessly creating a ball of Ki that grew to the size of an entire planet. When it was blasted into Planet Vegeta, it ended up destroying it quite easily, effectively wiping the Saiyan race out of existence, making it an incredibly powerful attack.

Final Flash is Vegeta's ultimate attack

Throughout the series, Vegeta has created some of the most powerful techniques, chief among them being his legendary Final Flash. While the charge time of this attack is its main drawback, its ultimate power is immense and allows Vegeta to increase his overall power by many levels when using it.

The best example of Final Flash's power was when Vegeta used it against Perfect Cell and Jiren, both of whom were leagues stronger than him at the time. Even though he had to goad his opponents into going head-on due to his long charge time, it dealt a lot of damage to both enemies and almost completely obliterated Perfect Cell, showing just how powerful Final Flash really is.

The final explosion kills its user in the process

When Babidi reawakened the evil in Vegeta's heart, the process also granted him significant power while in his Super Saiyan 2 form. The result was Majin Vegeta; one of the biggest additions to the entire franchise. Eventually, Vegeta would regain his sanity in hopes of defeating Majin Buu, which he almost did with his legendary Final Explosion attack.

Basically, the technique consisted of Vegeta gathering all of his energy into himself and releasing it in a violent blast that not only obliterated his enemy, but also killed himself in the process. The only reason Buu survived was because of his cellular regeneration. Vegeta later perfected this technique so that he would not die after using it, which he successfully used against Toppo.

The Super Spirit Bomb finally finished off Buu

In the final moments of the Buu Saga, Kid Buu proved to be the greatest threat the heroes have ever faced, matching Super Saiyan 3 Goku's strength with his wild nature making him completely unpredictable. Eventually, Goku used a Super Spirit Bomb to knock him out for good.

Although the Spirit Bomb was used several times in the story, it often failed to do its job in terms of defeating the enemy it was used on. However, the Super Spirit Bomb changed this trend as the extra power Goku gained from being a Super Saiyan made the attack even stronger and eventually wiped Kid Buu off the face of the universe.

The special beam cannon has the strongest piercing damage yet

Although the special beam cannon is Piccolo's legendary and iconic signature move, the most powerful version of the attack was seen at the end of the Super Hero arc in the hands of Beast Gohan. Finally unlocking a form on par with Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, Gohan unleashed the greatest penetrating attack in Dragon Ball.

While most Ki attacks tend to be destructive and wide bursts of energy, the special beam cannon instead prefers to focus all of the user's energy on a narrow point to penetrate whatever target it is used on. Of course, the main caveat is the insanely long charging time, but once you use it, there's no stopping it.

Beerus Ball uses the energy of destruction

In his Ultra Ego state, Vegeta unlocked a variety of powerful new abilities, chief among them allowing him to finally harness the Energy of Destruction. This allowed him to cover his regular Ki attacks with this energy, essentially turning them into antimatter bombs that could obliterate anything they came in contact with.

The biggest version of this was seen in his fight against Granolah, where he raised his hands as if performing a Spirit Bomb to create a massive ball of Ki that was covered in Destruction Energy. Although this attack was overpowered by Granolah's own beam, it was due to his ascension to a new state and his classification as the strongest in the universe, which truly shows how powerful this attack truly was.

The Limit Ultra Kamehameha Almost Erased Broly

In the Broly arc, Gogeta made his long-awaited canon debut and proved to be the greatest fusion to exist in the entire series. Once he went through his Super Saiyan Blue transformation, he didn't take a single hit from his opponent and almost obliterated him completely with his most powerful attack, the Limit Ultra Kamehameha.

Also known as the Full-Force Kamehameha, this attack is by far the most powerful version of the iconic blue Ki wave ever shown in the series. Unfortunately, his true power could never be truly seen as Broly was knocked out of his trajectory at the last minute, but Whis even suggests that if he had connected, the fight would have been over.

Hakai is the biggest offensive technique in the series

User: All Gods of Destruction

A destroyer god's calling card is their ability to use hakai, the power that gives them this classification in the first place. Basically, due to the overflowing destructive energy they possess, the Gods of Destruction can easily erase anything from existence, regardless of scale or complexity.

While endemic to the Destroyers, the most common and best use of this technique was through Beerus himself, who was shown to destroy entire planets with the tap of his finger, or when he erased a concept being from existence. While all attacks carry some power, they all pale in comparison to a single technique that can easily erase anything from existence.
