The Cyndaquil body was carved completely from Basswood, while the flames on the back are made of custom-made resin. According to the artist, the project took two months to finish from start to finish, and they go to very detail about his work through an instagram post. The pictures show them that they start with a small Basswood block, which gradually seized the basic shape of Cyndaquil before polishing and improved. The primen flames on the back were first created by creating the construction of the polymeric clay and then using a silicone mold to pour the color resin.
