Nintendo started broadcasting surveys to players in Japan related to the game keys to Switch 2With a company that wants to learn more about consumers' opinions on controversial physical editions. Although Switch 2 was a massive hit for the legendary society, it wasn't without a controversy, and many in the community frustrated the high costs of their first -party titles and its use cards that actually don't include any game data.
Those who were worried about the preservation of games opposed the use of Nintendo cards since the start of Switch 2 at the beginning of June. Physical cards include only the digital activation key for the games, and most of all Switch 2 titles use this system because larger games are not suitable for 64 GB of console cassettes. While Nintendo emphasized the importance of physical games in the future and said that game keys cards are used primarily to allow third -party publishers to bring titles to a new hybrid console, some of them remain skeptical in the community.
