Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection looks like a powerful impressive tribute to the whole series and celebrates its rich history by giving fans access to as many older games as it can. Any playing franchise, which was as long as Mortal Kombat had wounds on the road, and in fact it would not be a tribute to the whole history of MK if it did not recognize them.
We already know that there are a lot of games in The Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection, but recently two more titles have been revealed in the game thanks to some Gamescom shots that make bicycles on social media. The shots shared by Wario64 on Twitter show that two of the worst MK-mythology games will be included in the collection: Sub-echoes and special forces.
Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection includes mythology: Sub-nulo and special forces
If you've never played any of these titles, you don't miss too much, but they are interesting pieces of Mortal Kombat. For beginners, none of them is traditional combat games, because mythology: Sub-zero is more of an action adventure game for side comparison that focuses on sub-zero. No prices for guessing.
On the other hand, special forces are a 3D action game, which is widely considered not only the worst Mortal Kombat game of all time, but commonly appears in the “worst games of all time”. In fact, it is currently sitting on an incredibly impressive score of 28 on Metacritic, although it is up to seven reviews.
Both titles are quite terrible, but they are important pieces of Mortal Kombat history. For example, Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero was actually the first game in a series that was not a fighting game, while the special forces were the first Mortal Kombat 3D Spinoff. Both have their place in history and will now be anchored forever in Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection, for better or worse.
