Charizard is undoubtedly one of the most valuable Pokémon you can find in Pokemon TCG, so it was only a matter of time before some of the best cards of these Pokemon from the Scarlet & Violet era got some love. While many of us have seen this moment come, it is almost impossible to predict when it happens exactly, and the timing surprised a lot.
While Charizard is obviously one of the most popular Pokémon of all time, these cards from the Scarlet & Violet era have once been much more available than today.
The cards are ordered according to their market prices TCGPlayer. Cards without market price are not included.
Prepare for Deja Vu
Promo Charizard 56 from the Scarlet & Violet era is by far not the most valuable charizard card of the generation, but it continues to crawl. While Charizard's most expensive cards usually get the most attention, the way of this promo into double digits is impressive.
It could be said that this card deserves even a bigger price tag, but unfortunately for this Charizard iteration other almost identical variations claim the reflector among the best promo cards Charizard Scarlet and Violet.
Charizard Ex: Obsidian Flames (Ultra Rare) – $ 14,33
Obsidian's introduction
Although it boasts almost the same work of art, this beautiful Charizard of Obsidian Flames is not promo. Although there are other valuable Obsidian Flames with Charizard, this finding of $ 14 can have more up than its modest price tag can indicate.
The terrastal design of the white background and glass has become a characteristic feature of several Scarlet & Violet Charizard cards, including the promo 56 and this obsidian flame, but there is a third version that earns the highest price brand and has a very clear appearance.
Promo meaning
The final Charizard Card, which has a bold but simple white background, along with the terrastalized Charizard, is promo number 74, this time representing the shinier display of Charizard.
The mostly black glossy color palette excels even more than its peers thanks to Starker's black contrast with a white background. However, the shiny color palette Charizard is listed on an even more valuable card.
Charizard Ex: Obsidian Flames (Hyper Rare) – $ 26,38
Gold standard
Hyper rare cards have taken a long way, led by cards such as this charizard that began to move attitude to gold cards and hyper Rares, thanks to the distinctive colors that offer slightly more contrast than previous generations.
Since this hyper rare from obsidian flames is closed on a $ 30 brand, it sets a new standard for some future gold cards to follow, provided they continue to use this darker gold background that creates a noticeable brightness difference between the background and Pokémon.
Charizard Ex: 151 (Ultra Rare) – $ 30,64
Simple elegance
151 is easily the most interesting set of Scarlet and Violet, due to the huge wave of hype it has begun, and creates an incredibly competitive Pokémon market that we have today. Given that demand and prices are still rising into the stratosphere, we can look back at the issue of 151 as the main catalyst of this new age in TCG Pokemon.
This Charizard Ultra Rare has a clear orange background that makes it still excel from other S&V Charizard cards, but also the brightness that doesn't give this card enough to overshadow her other competitor.
Charizard Ex: Obsidian Flames (Special Illustration Rare) – $ 117.33
Outbreak
Charizard ex special illustration rare from Obsidian Flames has risen to unprecedented heights because this card now commands about $ 120 after a massive increase in Charizard card prices after the set scarlet & violet generation.
Although this card has risen into triple digits, more than doubling from its earlier price tag, it is even more space to increase, due to the immense popularity of Charizard and the lack of other best options from this generation.
Charizard Ex: Paldean Fates (Special Illustration Rare) – $ 297.92
Glossy
Although there may not be many other Charizard cards that would compete with a special illustration of rare (Sir) from obsidian flames, Paldean Fates releases one of just two other peers who can hold the candle to the previous charizard. The Charizard Paldean Fates excels due to its distinctive glossy color palette and a terrastized form.
When the bubble set (Mew ex sir) rises above $ 2,000 in the dog 10, the price of a dog 10 of this card is located at about half, with plenty of space for Charizard to continue climbing graphs in new territory.
Charizard Example: 151 (special illustration rare) – $ 308.32
The highest charizard generation
Last but not least, Sir Charizard from 151, which excels thanks to the unusual angle and beautiful landscape, which forms the scene around Charizard. While this card divided the audience when it first came out, its price is steadily rising, thanks to its desirable chase card from its set.
As the highest Chase card from probably the best set in Scarlet & Violet, it will be almost impossible to usurp the place of this Charizard as the best card of this Pokémon from the Scarlet & Violet era.
