Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha are not just two main characters Magnum Opus Masashi Kishimoto, but they are also industrial icons that had a lasting impact on the anime industry. Many manga artists were inspired by the two and tried to integrate some of their features into their own characters.

  • Naruto never had ever been in his fighting against Sasuke

Kishimoto has been very direct from the beginning regarding the questions about Naruto and Sasuke's power. Naruto was almost always stronger than Sasuke. Even in the first part Naruto had better performances than his counterpart. Sasuke only approached when he got a curse from Orochimar.

In the early stages of Part 2, Sasuke had an advantage over Naruto, because he barely improved under Jiraiya, which allowed Uzhih to pull forward. Sasuke kept the lead for a while until Naruto gained access to the nine tail of the chakra. With Power-up, Naruto's physical abilities have astronomically increased. He was able to take his opponents with several blows.

In the middle of the fourth Great War of Ninja Naruto and Sasuke received power-ups from Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Sage of six trips asked them a few questions before giving them new abilities that would allow them to crush the threats of Madary Uchiha and later Kaguya Ottsuki. Once the enemies were neutralized, Naruto and Sasuke fought each other in the valley of the end. Sasuke wanted to kill Naruto and become a hocage that would carry the hatred of the world. Meanwhile, Naruto was just trying to save Sasuke from his destructive nature. Uzumaki had no anger against his opponent and he tried to best prevent things from getting worse.

I can't keep your hatred and die with you! Because I'm your friend! —Naruto

Unfortunately, Sasuke was consumed in darkness and did not want to stop. Uchiha used every trick in the book to try to win, but couldn't get a better of Naruto. In the end, the fight ended by admitting Sasuke. During the battle, Naruto was superior to Sasuke and wasn't trying to hurt him. If he wanted to, Naruto could kill Sasuke and saved the rest of the world. But he wanted to do both, so he held on.

After Kishimoto ended the long debates on Naruto and Sasuke, the fans could not help but wondered what was for the two characters. Later it was revealed that Ikemoto will write a sequel set in the same universe. Initially, Kishimoto did not want to have anything to do with the project, but at one point he returned as a supervisor.

The fans expected Naruto and Sasuke to join Borut, but nothing could prepare them for what to figure out. Both characters were humiliated several times in the sequel and even lost their greatest strength. This led to a sharp decline in their strength and both had to be displaced.

Some fans hoped things would change in the future, but it wasn't. They are currently Sasuke and Naruto Archaic and will not actively participate in the story. Although it is possible to understand the decision of Ikemoto to keep both stars from the story, the author could not be denied that things could do better. He could simply write them from the beginning instead of humiliating them in almost every arch. The sequel is still not over, so Ikemoto still has the opportunity to redeem. However, it will largely depend on how this story has been done from now on.
