The importance of Haki continues to grow with each subsequent chapter One piece. Properly introduced just prior to the series' timeskip, Haki is an essential power that allows one to survive in the New World and fight against the absolute most powerful individuals. Simply put, Haki is a spiritual power that can be used to enhance sensory power, boost attack and defense, and even overpower others in the world One piece. Over the years, Oda has revealed some very powerful Haki users fans, and with each subsequent arc, Oda continues to show fans different uses of Haki. One Piece's Elbaf arc finally introduced fans to the incredible character Rocks D. Xebca. While Rocks was first mentioned in the Wano arc, around chapter 957, he was only properly shown in Elbaf, as his relationship to King Harald and Loki was somewhat significant. Regardless, what fans were most interested in when it came to Rocks D. Xebec was his incredible power.

When Rocks was first mentioned, it was made clear that he was Roger's greatest adversary, even greater than Whitebeard, and that he was a formidable foe that required the combined efforts of Garp and Roger to get rid of. Fans wanted to see this monstrous power for themselves One pieceand that's exactly what happened in Elbaf.
Right after Rocks' introduction, Oda made it extremely clear Rocks D. Xebec had a special fighting styleand that he could use a new, unique Haki. Rocks Haki infusion attacks were strange. He primarily used his sword in battle, but more often than not, his sword missed the mark. Instead, his blade attacks were such that they blasted away everything in the vicinity and caused utter chaos. Oda himself went on to confirm Rocks' giant hammer sword attacks or cannon fire instead of slashes. This was achieved with Rocks with Haki and this special application of Haki is really broken.

Not known how Rocks learned to use this special broken Haki fighting style. Whether there was another user before him remains to be seen, but what fans do know is that two others have inherited this power of his. Roger learned this ability as well, as can be seen from his technique, the so-called Kamusari. Shanks has the same broken Haki that Rocks had, and it's possible that Luffy gets it too, probably in Elbaf.
