Most players will farm Borderlands 4 Legendaries via Moxxi's Big Encore, which allows instant boss respawns at a low cost. Players try to do it as fast as possible. To help with this, players were previously able to reset their Vault Hunter's skill cooldowns by opening a vendor that is available at all of Moxxi's Big Encore boss locations. That has changed recently Borderlands 4 updates and effective Legendary farmers noticed the problem almost immediately.

According to Associate Creative Director Grant Kao, the lack of skill cooldown reset po-Borderlands 4 the update is unintentional, caused by “fixing another bug related to camera movements”. Exactly when this will be fixed remains to be seen, but it shouldn't be too long before Gearbox re-adds the vendor skill cooldown reset. These popular quality of life changes have been a priority for Gearbox at the moment. Not every Gearbox nerf lately is unintentional, though. While the developer is trying to balance the game perfectly, a nerf to Vex's critical knife is being built Borderlands 4 caused some controversy. While some players want to be able to build such a power trip in the game, others don't want to be able to trivialize even the toughest bosses.
