ARC Raiders Reveals 2025 Content Plan

Embark Studios shares preliminary information ARC Raiders content plan for the rest of 2025. The near-future program includes new weapons, events and quests, as well as more ARC Raiders map, among many other news.

Embark teased its post-launch plans ARC Raiders just before firing the extractor. The Swedish developer has committed to releasing several “major” patches in the last two months of 2025, promising a host of new content, balance changes and fixes. While not much concrete information was provided at the time, Embark executive producer Aleksander Grondal promised to share a concrete plan shortly after the game's launch.

The studio has now made good on that promise, releasing a tentative content schedule for the rest of 2025. The agenda identifies two major updates in the form of North Line and Cold Snap, which are slated to launch in November and December. Both promise new ARC Raiders quests and events, but only North Line is set to introduce another map. This location is called Stella Montis and will mark the game's fifth map to date.

Although the PvPvE dynamic is at the heart of what it does ARC Raiders compelling experience, additional maps could potentially increase the appeal of the core formula and improve the game's staying power. This train of thought may have contributed to Embark's decision to prioritize launching Stella Montis while its extraction shooter is still in its infancy. The November 2025 map update will also add new ARC machines: Matriarch and Shredder.

Conversely, December's Cold Snap patch will introduce the Snowfall state, the Flickering Flames event, and a new Raider Deck – the game's lingo for combat passes. The package will also include another expedition departure window, meaning that December 2025 will mark the start of a new expedition cycle. Separately from these two big updates, Embark has promised to roll out smaller content drops ARC Raiders' selection of map conditions, feats, trials and cosmetics, among other features and elements.

The tentative content plan for 2025 was shared as well ARC Raiders received its first post-launch update on October 31st. The new version, marked version number 1.000.006, is almost entirely dedicated to bug fixes. It also temporarily disables the Codex virtual tracking feature while the developers work to fix an issue that prevents some target types from unlocking properly. More ARC Raiders hotfixes may arrive before the North Line is updated.
