Players can redeem it using a linked account on the SHiFT website or directly in-game via the SHiFT menu. Unlike the most recent SHiFT codes, which only offered one key each, this particular code offers three gold keys for use in the game, although it will expire on November 11th.
Gearbox didn't exactly keep players waiting too long for new SHiFT codes Borderlands 4's release, so those who miss this particular code shouldn't worry too much. Chances are, the next one is just around the corner, regardless. And while the codes themselves have an expiration date, the Golden Keys don't, so do the players in between Borderlands 4 characters should redeem these codes while they are active.
