Battlefield 6 Producer Issues Statement on Bots

Battlefield 6 producer David Sirland recently offered an interesting look at how the game uses bots and why they're actually more useful than you might realize at first glance. Since its launch, Battlefield 6 has collected an impressive number of players, but sometimes some players are not human at all and are actually artificial intelligence.

AI bots are nothing new in online multiplayer games Battlefield 6 the use of this is no surprise. There are cases where players even prefer playing with bots. Just a few days ago, Battlefield 6 launched its Casual Breakthrough mode where each team only has 8 real players between the two and the remaining slots are filled with 16 bots on either side. However, on the other hand, some players may get frustrated with bots as they can sometimes dilute the challenge. However, according to Sirland, the use of bots is actually far more helpful than harmful.

Battlefield 6 bots are essential to reduce long wait times

  • According to Sirland, the bots are not permanent parts of the match and are only used to fill the lobby quickly.

  • Bots enter the game only under certain conditions.

Sirland turned to X to clear up any confusion Battlefield 6 players may have about why bots appear in games. First, specific conditions are taken into account. If “players start a playlist lobby” and it takes more than three minutes and the lobby is not full, the game will start with bots. However, as more players join the server and are thrown into games, the bots will be kicked out and eventually fill the match completely with humans. Sirland states that players simply need to “stick it out” to see that their lobby is full of people. If one sees mostly bots in the lobby, it is only because they are one of the first players to be added.

Battlefield 6 players have found it to have some of the smallest maps in the series.

So for Battlefield 6 For players who have seen a lot of bots in their lobbies, Sirland says the best solution is to wait for the server to fill up. The alternative is much longer wait times, and it's unclear exactly how long those waits would be. WITH Battlefield 6 already estimated to have sold around 10 million copies, the game certainly won't hurt players, but it could take a lot longer without bots in certain regions.

Battlefield 6 is almost over its first month, and in that time the military shooter has impressed in many ways. There's still room to grow, but as far as the many different multiplayer modes are concerned, the presence of bots will continue.
