Plans are the backbone of progress Arc Raiderturning your scavenged scraps into real battle-ready gear. But like any good loot-based game, finding them isn't as simple as cracking open every random container you see. Some locations and storage types are much more generous than others, and knowing where to look can mean the difference between hours of fruitless scavenging and a steady stream of rare upgrades.
There are a few key spots and tricks that will seriously increase your chances. Here's what you need to know about how blueprint drops work and where to start hunting if you want your next raid to really pay off.
How to find plans
In Arc Raiders, plans are part luck, part strategy. Almost any loot source can drop thembut you will have a much better chance focusing on higher level loot zones and rare container types. Areas marked as higher rarity usually yield more valuable items, including blueprints. Locked or barred doors are also worth preferringbecause the loot hidden behind them is almost always better than what's lurking outside.
When looking for containers, pay attention backpacks, shipping bags, weapon crates, silver raider cacheand other specialized save points that appear on the map. These have a much higher chance of throwing off the plan than more generic loot boxes or drop floors.
Watch out for them whenever you're in an elevated loot zone or working in a locked area. You will start to notice a pattern where the blueprints appear most often.
The best places to farm plans
Here are some of the most reliable places in Arc Raiders to consistently find and farm blueprints.
Dam Battlegrounds Broken Bridge
Head to Dam Battlefield. One of the best places to grow blue print is hidden under an elevated road where it ends, between East Raider base and East Broken Bridge. You will find a raider cache spawn in the small gap there. The easiest way to do this is with a zip line from the ground, although you can too fall off the highway above and use the safe grab the ledge mid-fall. This place consistently rewards plans.
I personally check this place every time I play Dam Battlegrounds. It is good at providing plans.
Dam Battlegrounds Dam Ledge
Another strong agricultural road lies further along the dam itself on lower part of the map. Access from the right side and make your way along the narrow walkways on the ledge from Sluice gateslowering individual parts of the bridge as you go. Two doors along this path will be barricadedand opening them will not only reveal containers of rare loot, but often yield a blueprint or two.
Don't forget to search the area southeast of this place as well. Raider caches can occasionally appear among the debris scattered across the open, overgrown terrain.
Blue Gate Village
For players who have progressed further and obtained Blue Gate Village Keythe village west of the Blue Gate map zone is one of them reliable sources of in-game blueprints. Use your key to unlock the large double doors near the center of the area. You will find inside several high-rise containers with a high probability of dropping the plans. It's not that easy to farm because of the key requirement, but the results are almost always worth it.
