Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition it was released on November 10, 2025, but its arrival is not smooth for all players. While this works fine for a few, if not most, players, several issues prevent some players from even launching the game, prompting a response from Bethesda.
Overall, it's been a pretty solid year for us Fallout franchise. Bethesda announced Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition a few weeks ago, on October 23, Fallout 76The Burning Springs update will launch in early December and Fallout Season 2 (which takes viewers to New Vegas) also comes out in December. Unfortunately, the first stop at the end of the year Fallout the train is not without bumps.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is not launching for some players
As somewhat expected, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition clashes with mods. Namely, The Creations Menu kicks some players when accessed, exiting on the desktop can crash the game, and overall the game simply won't start for some.. However, it appears that deactivation Fallout 4 mods will be a working solution for now. There are some reports of this happening to players who didn't even purchase any of them Fallout 4 upgrade anniversary. While these issues aren't necessarily groundbreaking, not being able to enjoy the game on its anniversary can be disconcerting. The irony wasn't lost on fans, as Redditor Actual-Damage-4216 said in a comment on the Reddit thread above that “breaking a game on its anniversary is peak Bethesda.”
Bethesda released a statement on the matter saying that it is “actively investigating an issue affecting the delivery of Creations Club content following the purchase of the Creations Bundle or Anniversary Edition. Currently, there may be a delay between the completion of your purchase and the appearance of content marked as owned in your account.” Although it may not solve every problem Fallout 4: Anniversary Editionit should be noted that some of these seem to be less of a widespread problem and more of a problem depending on what Fallout 4 mods are installed. Either way, Bethesda expects most issues to be resolved sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, fans can try uninstalling the mods and enjoy Fallout 4 on his anniversary. Of course, there is also something to look forward to. Fallout 4 maybe he's a bit on an island right now, but you can't tell Fallout Season 2 a Fallout 76.
