Fallout Season 2 needs Cazadores as much as Deathclaws

Amazons Fallout TV show is one of the most recent and successful live-action adaptations of the popular video game franchise. While such adaptations used to have something of a stigma, more modern interpretations such as Fallout TV series and HBO The last of us brought these IPs to the medium in a positive way. Debut last year, Fallout Season 1 was highly praised by critics and fans alike for its satisfying story that hit all the right marks and beats associated with Falloutworld.

Trailer for FalloutThe second season dropped earlier this summer, giving fans a glimpse of what the next chapter of Lucy, Ghoul and Maximus' adventures is in store for. One of the most notable inclusions in it were the first two to come face to face with Deathclaw. And while the prospect is certainly exciting, given that the creatures are some of the most iconic in the franchise, the fact that next season will also focus on the city of New Vegas is reason not to forget one of them. Fallout Season 2 Leaving out the Cazadores would be a huge missed opportunity

Deathclaw are without a doubt one of the most famous and deadliest Fallout monster that was introduced in the very first game in 1997 and has been included in every title since. Portrayed as the apex predators of the wasteland, they are usually the biggest threat and unprepared players quickly fall prey to them. In space, even hardened survivors have a healthy and justified fear of Deathclaws. Ghoul, who normally exhibits grace and a general badass attitude under pressure, is conveniently shown lashing out as Deathclaw takes aim at him.

While they were a brand new enemy at the time, Cazadores v Fallout: New Vegas he quickly built a reputation to rival even the Deathclaws. This was due to both their characteristics and how they were integrated into the environment and level design. It is likely that many players who have tried to head straight to the Lucky 38 casino on the New Vegas strip by the most direct route have encountered a terrifying obstacle in the form of a swarm of these killer insects. Fallout Season 2 seems forced to have a Cazador Encounter

As the players infiltrate the glowing city, they could be ambushed by Cazadores, forcing them to retreat and reconsider their approach. This could lead to them having to take a longer journey, parallel to the game, and one that will see them bump into other recognizable characters and locations. However the show treats them, they are an important part of the overall atmosphere Fallout: New Vegas.

With Lucy and the Ghoul confirmed to be dealing with the Deathclaws in the upcoming storyline, it would also be fitting that they (or potentially other characters) go up against another of the series' most formidable creatures. And since the Cazadores are so closely associated with New Vegas, next season with them meeting up would be a faithful inclusion; that's what fans of the show expect.
