Genshin Impact Version 6.2 Live Date and Time Revealed

Genshin Impact has set November 21, 2025 as the date for its next special programming announcement, during which players will be able to see a detailed preview of version 6.2 on YouTube and Twitch. While data mining has revealed a decent amount of information related to version 6.2, there are still a few unanswered questions. Genshin Impact features a major character overhaul for Mondstadt in version 6.2, with Albedo, Venti, Klee, Mona, Razor, Sacharose, and Fischl receiving buffs to their skill sets. The live stream will be a chance for the developers to explain their vision for the remake and potentially tease any future plans to update other playable cast members.

While version 6.2 will not come with a new map expansion Genshin Impactwill introduce the next chapter of the Song of Welkin's Moon as well as the Durin Story Quest. After making his debut in version 6.1, Durin is expected to join the playable cast in the upcoming patch as a 5-star Pyro Sword character. Durin can be played as an on-field rider for Vaporize and Melt reactions, but many fans are more excited about his off-field abilities. By switching to his alternate form, Durin can fill the role of a support character for Overload, Burning, Swirl and Crystallize teams, making him an ideal teammate for hypercarries like Arlecchino or Kinich.

Another thing to watch out for is the ability to insert the Mondstadt Chronicled Banner Genshin Impact. Since it was last introduced in 4.5, the Mondstadt Chronicled Banner is long gone, and with the introduction of the Hexerei buffs, 6.2 might be the perfect time for it to return. Version 6.2 is scheduled for release on December 3, 2025.
