The Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes the series has been absolutely incredible so far and fans have loved all the major events surrounding the main cast. Boruto Uzumaki has become an incredibly interesting protagonist and fans can't wait to see how he develops as a ninja in the story. Naturally, with all the main ninjas evolving in Boruto series, comparison with the old generation is a matter of course. Boruto represents a very talented generation of ninjasand as usual with Naruto, the new generation is on its way to surpassing the old.
Although it is about child prodigy as Itachi Uchiha, fans surely know that ihev continuation of the series was surpassed by none other than the protagonist Boruto Uzumaki. While Itachi was hailed as a giant once-in-a-generation genius, Boruto Uzumaki surpassed him when it comes to being a genius, and it's only a matter of time when Boruto is establishing himself as one of the greatest ninja prodigies of all time.
Boruto Uzumaki is a bigger prodigy than Itachi Uchiha
Boruto Uzumaki has always been the complete opposite of Naruto Uzumaki. While Naruto Uzumaki was born with little or no talent, Boruto Uzumaki was the opposite. Fans know that Boruto has tremendous talent as a ninja from a very young age. In fact, Boruto even mastered three types of nature at the Academy, something that is simply unheard of. Boruto Uzumaki is a monster when it comes to learning chakra applications as well. For example, as a mere Genin, Boruto learned how to create a vanishing rasengan, which is an an advanced Jutsu that requires the application of Nature Transformation to the Rasengan.

He even mastered the use Karma to some extent and now, in the Two Blue Vortex, he is a monster that can fight the likes of Otsutsuki. Boruto Uzumaki is clearly a generational talent. As a grown ninja, Boruto learned a Jutsu like Rasengan Uzuhikoand even created his own version of the flying thunder god, albeit worse. His fighting prowess is also incredible, as is his foresight as a ninja. in all possible ways Boruto Uzumaki is a bigger prodigy than Itachiand that makes him exceptional for Konoha.
Boruto created his own Jutsu
That cannot be denied Itachi was also a geniusand that he has much higher wisdom than Boruto. But aside from wisdom, and especially when it comes to fighting and ninjutsu, Boruto Uzumaki is more of a prodigy. Boruto invented Jutsu who can defeat almost anyone such as Uzuhiko and was able to master all of Sasuke's Jutsu in a year. Boruto cannot be outdone when it comes to ninjutsu. Furthermore, he continues to grow at an unstoppable pace and fans know that his ceiling is much higher than Itachi Uchiha's.

Boruto Uzumaki Is Otsutsuki Level
Boruto's powers increased so dramatically that is easily an Otsutsuki Level ninja right now. He is known by fans to be strong enough to defeat Kinshiki by himself and rival even Momoshiki or Isshiki. He is the savior of the world and he is doing all this at a very young age a bigger prodigy than Itachi.
Boruto is a Ninja who protects against shadows like Itachi
All the comparisons to Itachi do not come out of nowhere for Boruto Uzumaki. Fans surely know that Boruto is just like him when it comes to ninja ideology. Boruto is a disgraced ninja who takes all the blame for the village and protects them from the shadows. This is the same as Itachi Uchiha. Both Boruto and Itachi are incredibly strong shinobibut even in their ideology they are quite similar, and that is what sets them apart.
Of course, Boruto can be a bigger fighting prodigy than Itachi but Itachi has so much more wisdom that doesn't matter at the end of the day. Both are a vital part of Konoha's history and that's what makes them beloved.
