Humans are one of the most common and weakest races One piece. However, some tend to possess a great deal of potential, with the well-trained and refined remaining quite powerful forces in their own right. However, there are some people who have historically interbred with other races, allowing their offspring a little more natural strength than they might otherwise have.
While it's unclear whether these hybrids surpass or are naturally inferior to their full-blood counterparts in terms of strength, there are some who are nonetheless quite capable as fighters, carving out niches as some of the strongest characters in the larger series.

Finding One Piece is far from the only dream of these mighty pirates. Here are the goals of each emperor.
5 Dellinger
A Fish-Human/Human hybrid
- Affiliation: Donquijote Pirates; the Diamante Army
- Parentage: Unclear, mixed human/fish-human ancestry
- Devil Fruit: None
Dellinger is a high-ranking member of the Donquixote Pirates, effectively inducted into a “family” made up of its most elite members. He is a man who also partly fights fish and fish. The already somewhat murky nature of the Fishman's heritage is further complicated by the fact that Dellinger has no known parents. Discovered by the crew as an orphan, he was raised by Giolla, a family member who was responsible for his upbringing. This greatly influenced aspects of Dellinger's style, such as his high heels, which he wore in combat and armor.
Even as a child he was a full member of the crew when they managed to take over Dressrosa, he was only a few years old. Into adulthood, Dellinger remains a tough enemy. His relatively benign human teeth mask a sharp set of fighting fish teeth that aid him in his aggressive maneuvers. Like Arlong, he appears to be able to regrow and shed his teeth at will, though the exact extent to which he is able to do so remains unclear. He was able to take out several Corrida Colosseum participants with relatively little effort, including the likes of Ideo, Blue Gilly, and Sulieman. This puts him above even some members of the Grand Fleet of Straw Hats. However, Hakuba, Cavendish's evil alter-ego, was able to defeat him with a single punch.
4 Charlotte Amanda
A hybrid of a snake neck and a human
- Affiliation: Big Mom Pirates
- Parents: Unidentified Snakeneck (father), Charlotte Linlin (human mother)
- Devil Fruit: None
Amande is from the Snakeneck Tribe, a race that remains invisible outside of Totto Land. He is an officer of the Big Mom Pirates. All known members of the group so far are human hybrids and children of Linlin. In particular, Amande has three sisters who are fully related to her, as well as three snakeneck half-siblings, among many others of various races.

Fellow Big Moms come in all shapes and sizes. Her goal to include all races in her paradise gave her quite a diverse crew.
Although her officer rank is quite common among the Charlotte siblings, the members of the Vinsmoke family choose Amande as one of the stronger siblings. She is shown to have massacred a number of knights for collecting eggs. Her limited screen time makes her proficient with her sword of choice, the Meito (Famous or “Great” Sword) known as the Shirauo.
3 Charlotte Smoothie
Longleg/Human Hybrid
- Affiliation: Big Mom Pirates; Three lovely commanders
- Parents: Unknown Longleg (father), Charlotte Linlin (human mother)
- Devil Fruit: Shibo Shibo no Mi
Smoothie is from the Longleg tribe and is the daughter of Linlin and subsequently a member of the Big Mom Pirates.
The breed is known for its long and strong legs, which they like to display and decorate. In addition to her two sisters, Citron and Cinnamon, Smoothie also shares this distinction with Tamago, the crew's fighter, who is believed to be a pure longleg and not related to the Charlotte family.
Smoothie is not shown using her legs in combat, instead preferring to use her Shibo Shibo no Mi, which allows her to suck and absorb the juice of other living beings. He carries a large unnamed sword that stores juice inside to use as a projectile when needed. She is also capable of using two types of haki. In addition to her demonstrated skills, Smoothie is further distinguished as one of the Three Sweet Commanders, the three most powerful pirates in the crew aside from her captain. She shares this distinction with Charlotte Katakuri, a pirate who could face off against Luffy.
2 Most Seraphim
Lunar/human hybrids
- Affiliation: Formerly Vegapunk, currently World Government
- Parents: King (Genetic Ancestor), Ex-Warriors (Templates), Vegapunk (Creator)
- Devil Fruit: None. Green blood allows everyone to have the power of a Paramecia
These cyborgs are a new variant of the Pacifists created by Vegapunk. In their youth they resemble the Seven Warriors of the Sea. The primary difference is that each has Lunar genes, courtesy of the Pirate King of Animals, taken from when he was a test subject in Punk Hazard. Since most of the warriors were actually human, most of these pacifists can be classified as human hybrids. The named human hybrids are S-Snake and S-Hawk, who are based on Boa Hancock and Dracula Mihawk.

One Piece: Every Species In the Beasts Pirates
This animal themed pirate crew has a number of different species.
S-Bear also technically counts, but he also has Buccaneer origins as he was cloned from Kuma. S-Shark, Jimbei's counterpart, is the only non-human hybrid of the group. There are also three counterparts of Crocodile, Gecko Moria and Donquixote Doflamingo that are currently active. Judging by the established naming conventions, they are probably called S-Crocodil, S-Gecko and S-Flamingo.
Naval Admiral Issho considered the Seraphim capable enough to replace the warriors and effectively restore the balance of power that had been lost by their abolition. This was shown in part when they were able to fight Blackbeard and the Straw Hat Pirates, both of whom are currently considered the greatest threats to world government. As partially biological beings, they are able to age and possibly grow stronger than they are now.
1 Bartholomew Kuma
Buccaneer/Human Hybrid
- Affiliation: Revolutionary Army (formerly), Seven Warlords of the Sea (formerly)
- Parents: Clapp (pirate father), unnamed human mother
- Devil Fruit: Nikyu Nikyu no Mi
Bartholomew Kuma was once a kind-hearted soul who used his power to protect those he cared for. His own tragic childhood as a slave, persecuted for being part of a deeply persecuted race of buccaneers, instilled in him a desire to care for others who could not defend themselves. He acted like a priest, a revolutionary and a king at times, but in every event he always remained his kind self. In particular, he served as a surrogate father to Bonney, as he was the lover of her mother Ginny, who conceived her in captivity as a World Noble slave. He wished to protect Bonney, even at great personal cost.
As such, he was transformed into a Pacifist programmed with a mission to protect the Thousand Sunny before becoming a non-autonomous unit. During this time, Kuma is shown making short work of the Straw Hats and remains a physically imposing fighter. A fact enhanced by his Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, which allows him to dish out blasts of air and transfer physical pain to and from individuals. After the dissolution of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Kuma was once again enslaved by the World Nobles who took advantage of his resistance to pain. After being rescued by Sabo and four revolutionary officers, Kuma was in a vegetative state. However, he managed to “switch off” and regain some semblance of autonomy that Vegapunk attributed to his buccaneer heritage. He was last seen reuniting with Bonney after she and Luffy fought Saturn.
The exact nature of buccaneers as a race is unclear. They are of giant descent, despite several not being as tall as some of the “giant” people, such as Big Mom, who is of purely human heritage (as far as we know.) Kum's father, Clapp's own parentage, is unknown. This makes it unclear how many giant ancestors they both have. Yet both were identified as pirates. The race is said to have committed a “grave sin”, although what it was has not yet been revealed.
