One Piece reaches new heights with remake
One Piece is quite a veteran series. The anime from Toei Animation started in 1999 and has released new episodes almost every week since then.
However, this Toei adaptation has major issues, holding One Piece back from the amazing adaptation seen with MHA Season 8. Toei's One Piece has only recently improved in animation quality, but many issues still remain. The pacing of One Piece is terrible and things like the sound design are painfully dated. One Piece will only really be able to shine after its WIT Studio remake comes out. This remake elevates the series and adapts it in a modern way.
