Berserk explores much darker themes than Naruto, and Guts in turn is able to face much more terrifying threats.
From the time he was a little boy to where he is now in the story, Guts has suffered greatly and uses that suffering to grow. Fans are hoping that the Berserker story will continue so that they can see how Guts' story ends.
Thorfinn
Thorfin is the protagonist of the Seinen Vinland Saga seriesand is one anime and manga character that goes through a huge amount of character development.
After losing his father, Thorfinn is consumed by rage and revenge, but thanks to the events that unfold in the Vinland Saga, he finds his true self again. His character is only going to get better from here on out, and he's a character that's hard to compete with in writing.
