Here's what to expect from the ARC Raiders Week 7 Trial Challenges

As the new week begins, ARC Raiders players officially have a new set of trial challenges to complete. Those looking to earn some new game rewards can now do so by competing in the latest set of pro trials ARC Raiderswhich again require players to take on Wasps, Pops, Bastions, and even the Matriarch, who is currently the deadliest enemy in the game.

The Trials system is just one of many ways ARC Raiders players can get high value loot. While the main way to get blueprints, weapons, and other equipment is through topside leadership and scavenging, trials also allow fans to complete weekly challenges for special rewards. Every Monday, five new challenges are added to the game, each of which players can earn up to three stars. Earning one star rewards the player with an uncommon item, two stars with a rare item, and three stars with an epic item. Players can earn even more rewards by achieving higher rankings throughout the season. The more they climb the rankings, the better rewards they will receive at the end of the season.

Literally playing against the machine, developers of ARC Raiders explore how enemy intelligence fuels imagination

The developers of ARC Raiders explain how his enemies were built to behave like real machines and adapt with a sense of mechanical self-preservation.

Last week was week 6 ARC RaidersTrials that require players to damage hornets, deliver carriers, damage rocket launchers, jumpers or bastions, destroy pops, and open ARC probes. Even though they're just over a month old, fans have made it clear that they're tired of the repetitive challenges that appear every week. For example, damage or destruction of Pops occurs to some extent almost every week. Some players have called the system “lame”, while others have gone so far as to say it's “absolute rubbish”.

How to complete ARC Raiders Week 7 Trials

  • Destroy ticks, fireballs and pucks

  • Searching for an offer drop

  • Harm the wasps

  • Bastion damage

  • Damage Queens or Matriarchs

For those who want to get another loot in preparation for the first one ARC Raiders Expedition this month, a new set of trial challenges is now live. Players who are level 15 or higher can go to the Trials section of the main menu and try challenges that include destroying ticks, fireballs and pops, finding supply drops, damaging wasps, bastions, queens and matriarchs. While the first of the bunch are common enemy types found on most maps, Queens and Matriarchs are only available during certain map events, making this Trials challenge the hardest of the bunch. However, it is worth noting that players do not need to kill the Queen or Matriarch; they just need to get as much damage as possible in a single turn.

As for the remaining challenges, many of them require players to either damage or destroy some fairly common ARC enemies. For example, maggots, ticks, and fireballs can be found inside most buildings. Wasps, also incredibly common, can be found outdoors with two nozzles on either side. While taking out the jets will quickly take down the Wasp, the goal is to rack up as much damage as possible, meaning in this case players should aim for the center of the ARC to get as many points as possible before destroying it.

More challenges and opportunities to earn in-game rewards will be available next week, but those planning to embark on their first expedition this month should be aware that all of their in-game items will be reset upon completion of the expedition. However, fans are now scrambling to get as much high-value loot out of their Stash as possible following the recent announcement from Embark Studios.

Over the weekend, the studio revealed more details ARC Raiders' now delayed expedition. Players who participate in the wipeout will receive numerous cosmetic items and twelve extra Stash slots. However, Embark caused controversy by announcing that five additional skill points can be obtained for 1 million Stash value. The Expedition window will be open from December 17th to December 22nd, with all players resetting at the same time.
