But nothing in this world is perfect, and they like even remarkable titles God of War Ragnarok have some room for improvement technically, mechanically or even narratively. Since mods for AAA games are more prevalent than ever, here are a few for improvement Ragnarok PC experience.
5 Anti-Stutter – High CPU and disk priority
Changes disk priority for better FPS
This mod is a simple but invaluable fix, especially for those playing on lower PCs who may find some of the main battles in God of War Ragnarok on their hardware. God of War Ragnarok is a particularly intense game that demands a lot from the player and their PC, with certain sequences, such as the Thor boss fight in particular, being quite demanding on the hardware.
When a computer has to juggle and allocate RAM to several programs at once, it has to prioritize whatever gets the most performance or the most focus at any one time. This mod basically moves God of War Ragnarok higher in the list of PC priorities. The recent repair has stopped Ragnarok from requiring VRAM, which should already improve lower system performance, but this mod takes it to the next level.
4 Dynamic FOV correction
It adds a much needed feature to the game
There is no way to default God of War Ragnarok to increase the player's FOV. While this isn't a problem for some, many would prefer to change how much of the setting they're taking up at any given moment, and the improved FOV can be a big boon during some of the high-intensity combat sessions that make up the bulk of God of War Ragnarok. While there are many reasons why an improved FOV could benefit gamers, the developers chose not to include this feature.

However, this mod comes to the rescue and allows players to change their FOV to their choice and provide FOV calculation compensation during most of the game. This is definitely a mod to look out for if players want more utility and customization in their game.
3 Disable PS Studios launch video
It helps players get right into the action
This is a simple but essential mod for players who want to get into the core of the game right away. The players seem to be drifting apart God Of War Ragnarok, especially compared to the original numbers from 2018. While this could of course come down to a simple preference for more streamlined gameplay in the original title, PlayStation's more questionable actions of late may push players away. Skipping the lengthy intro intro video is one way players might want to skip the PlayStation presence in this game and just focus on the gameplay.
There may not be much to this mod, but it's still a great way to cut through unnecessary holes and focus on the parts of the game that matter, so there's really no reason not to pick this mod up.
2 GOW Ragnarok visuals redefined
It breathes life and realism into graphics
When God of War Ragnarok released on PC, one of the first bits of recognition it received was for its incredible graphics. It carries over well from the original release to PS5 and PS4, God of War Ragnarok it has incredible graphical fidelity and is one of the prettiest games out there, whether players are exploring idyllic, peaceful forests or fighting in hostile and unforgiving icy wastelands.
This mod is by no means a dramatic overhaul or a complete overhaul God of War Ragnarokvaunted graphics. Instead, this mod is a subtle repaint of all the graphics in the game, changing the saturation and sharpness of cutscenes and the like to create a more realized and rounded set of graphics, perfect for anyone looking to maximize the graphical fidelity of this game.
