For a game like this ARC Raidersreleasing interesting merchandise that sells out in minutes should be easy. Its boxy futuristic aesthetic, mixed with a wide variety of items that each seem to have character and personality, gives the publisher a long list of ideas. My wallet was ready for a retro-futuristic helmet, a 3D printed raider figure, a Complex Gun Parts miniature box, whatever. But then ARC Raiders revealed the first batch of official merchandise and I was like, “Oh! Sure. This is even better.”
The Swedish modesty of Embark Studios is the first thing you notice when you enter ARC Raiders trade. No flashy banners, no timers, no extravagant marketing: click here for news or here for bestsellers. The merch itself isn't overdone, either: a slew of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, seven in total featuring the ARC's recognizable four-color print. Prices start at $31 and go up to $70. There's also a stylish branded cap that should hit shelves this January. But that's not all. The store has one thing outside of clothing that I'm dying to add to my collection.
Arc Raiders players are not happy with the “chicken helmet” microtransactions.
Arc Raiders players have come together to voice their collective frustration with shop cosmetics in Embark Studios' popular new extraction shooter.
ARC Raiders released Perfect Merch and I'm already scouring eBay
Among all the themed ARC Raiders apparel that launched, one accessory stood out as a must-have for die-hard raiders: a true ambidextrous ARC Raiders soundtrack cartridge with the same aesthetic and color palette that makes the game look beautiful. The $19 cassette features all 24 original synth-heavy, vintage-textured tracks by award-winning composers Patrik Andren and Johan Soderqvist. Don't get too excited though. Given ARC RaidersHugely popular, almost all merch, including the sought-after cassette, sold out within hours. As such, I plan to keep an eye out for eBay listings so I can snag them, even if at an exorbitant price.

The idea of playing “Team up!” track on my older brother's still working Sony Walkman EX348 in preparation for take down ARC RaidersA huge ARC is more than exciting. This would make the entire battle as immersive as if I were in a 1979 Disney montage Black holeone of my favorite sci-fi movies of all time.
If you're not like me and don't want to resort to eBay, visit the official store. You can sign up for the website's newsletter to be notified when the cartridges are back in stock. Also check out the unofficial ARC Raiders merch — some of it is actually good; I saw a Leaper fan figure that looked pretty interesting. Also, keep an eye out for future merch announcements from Embark Studios. The studio said that this is just the beginning and that new items and designs will be dropping in the coming months.
I hope that future drops will include more cartridge-futuristic additions. 3D figurine of a caravan to honor ARC RaidersA first expedition would be nice too. But for now, we'll have to wait and see what Embark Studios has in store beyond that ARC Raiders cap that we already know is coming this January.
