The Game Awards kicked off with a bombshell announcement: brand new Star Wars game directed by BioWare's Casey Hudson (KOTOR, Mass Effect). With a title Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republicthis title will take fans back to one of the most popular eras in the franchise, defined KOTOR games. It's exciting, and as the dust settles, it's getting more exciting. However, the trailer gave fans a little blink-and-you-miss-it teaser that pushes the lofty expectations even higher.

Technically, KOTOR's Starforge has produced several similar ships, so the sheer number is against this ship being a Leviathan specifically. But in our hearts it is, and the Arcanauts must have known it.
Revan's Shadow now persists over two games
Brand new after all Star Wars A game set in the Old Republic is hype in itself. Hudson's return to it is hype. But an immediate, possible connection with KOTOR main character Revan? It's hard to maintain that kind of hype. From PHOTOGRAPHER is clearly years away from release, it's possible that it blends well with KOTOR remake — assuming its development ever got back on track and wasn't frozen.
Ultimately, it remains to be seen how it will develop KOTOR remake and PHOTOGRAPHER shakes up, but for fans around the world, it will hopefully fulfill all expectations. PHOTOGRAPHER he could not escape KOTOR comparing and challenging them directly with Leviathan, especially with all the other very public challenges facing the studio, is a testament to the studio's confidence.
