Each Yokai of the Five Elders, ranked by strength

The Five Elders, also known as the Gorosei, are some of the strongest individuals we have seen One pieceand have thus far played a significant role in the Final Saga. While they have been hidden in the shadows over the years, the Final Saga brought them out at their best. In the Egghead arc, we got a good look at the powers and abilities of the Five Elders, and it's safe to say that they are some of the most dangerous individuals to have existed in the One Piece world.

The Five Elders were revealed to have the power of various Yokai and other mythological creatures. It is unclear at this time if these abilities come from the Devil Fruits or if they are the result of a gift from Nero Ima in the One Piece world. While all are incredibly powerful, some creatures are stronger than others.

Sand worm

• User: Saint Shepherd Ju Peter

The Sandworm is a powerful mythological creature that exists in many works of fiction. This is an incredibly powerful creature that the holy shepherd Ju Peter can transform into at will. The Sandworm is an absolutely massive creature with what looks like a scar on its head. The creature has the power to kick and attack enemies from below with incredible speed. In the Egghead arc, Ju Peter was seen using the Sandworm's power to kick and then attack Luffy to devour him.

Ju Peter was also able to swallow Luffy and if it wasn't for the Giants, maybe Luffy would be dead. It also has great grip strength that can tear through the defenses of some powers. This creature's powers have yet to be fully explored. Like each individual member of the Five Elders, Shepherd Ju Peter has a unique ability, but unfortunately we probably won't see it unless Oda draws more detail on the battles on another island.

Gyuki

• User: Saint Jaygarcia Saturn

Saint Saturn is the Gorosei that fans have seen the most of in the story so far. He was first seen arriving on Egghead with the Marines and used his Yokai power right from the start. Saint Saturn can transform into Gyuki. This creature has the upper body of an ox and the lower body of a spider. Saint Saturn has several powerful abilities. First, Saturn can use the force to deal invisible damage to his enemies. In addition, he can even use this power to trap his enemies and prevent them from moving, including powerful enemies such as Yonko Commanders.

In addition, Saturn has a powerful ability to coat himself in poison and attack others with this poison, which can kill with a single shot. If that wasn't enough, Saturn also has incredible regeneration speed, but this regeneration is also mastered by all members of the Elders. It is clear that Saturn had tremendous power; however, his performance against Luffy was definitely not the best.

Itsumada

Itsumade is a giant mythological bird with what appears to be a serpent's body, giant wings with feathers as hard as steel, and a head that appears to be a mixture of human and bird. This giant bird's teeth are also incredibly sharp, and all things considered, the Itsumade is an absolutely monstrous creature.

We haven't seen much of this creature in One Piece yet. However, Itsumade was clearly able to easily break the Labophase barrier. This suggests that he had enough speed and strength to break through the barrier. He also has the ability to spit powerful laser fire from his mouth. It burns everything in its path. Itsumade's true power has yet to be seen as fans don't know what unique ability he has up his sleeve. However, it is most certainly one of the most powerful Yokai transformations of all.

Bakotsu

• User: Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro

Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is a powerful individual and probably one of the strongest among the Five Elders. He had a lot of incredible powers up his sleeve, and as seen in Egghead, he can transform into Bakotsu, a figure from hell resembling a horse skeleton. This skeletal horse is absolutely massive and incredibly fast at the same time.

Nusjuro can also transform into his hybrid form, just like all the other Elders, and when he takes this form, he transforms into a centaur-like creature. Wielding his sword in one hand, Nusjuro was able to cut through over 25 Mark 3 pacifists in the blink of an eye. He can also summon cold from the underworld, an ability he shares with Brook. Of course, Bakotsu Yokai also has many other abilities that we haven't seen before. For now, however, this creature's speed is unmatched. In addition, the coldness with which he attacks renders his opponents completely helpless, and this is certainly a very terrifying power.

Fengxi/Houki

• User: Saint Topman Warcury

Fengxi, also known as Houki, is a monstrous creature in Chinese mythology that looks like a massive wild boar. Houki is known to have tremendous physical strength, arguably the highest among the Five Elders. At the same time, Houki also appears to have impenetrable skin that prevents him from taking serious damage. In Egghead, Houki was able to withstand Luffy's Red Roc, the same technique that sent Kaido crashing to the floor and bleeding out. Houki can also use fire to the point where it is strong enough to hurt even people like Luffy in Gear 3.

Houki can also turn his tusks into blades and attack enemies with them. These attacks are deadly enough to injure even powerful Yonko-level opponents. In addition, Warcury also had the ability to amplify his Conqueror's Haki using the power of this Yokai. It could be seen being used against Luffy and it completely ripped his clothes and blew away everyone in the area. In fact, the power of his Conqueror's Haki Roar was such that it even hit Marine ships, knocking out several members in the process.
