Egghead has been doing just that, introducing fans one by one to the absolute disasters that will rock the world in this part of the story. In the world One piecethe characters fight with all sorts of abilities, but Oda has emphasized time and time again that the strongest of them all, at least right now, rely on Haki.

Haki itself was quite prevalent in the One piecesince it is a spiritual form of energy that can be used for offensive and defensive purposes and is especially useful against Devil Fruit users. But now his importance skyrocketed, especially knowing that he could do wonders against Imu's evil magical powers. At the same time, One Piece's Egghead Arc, specifically episode 1153 of the anime, has officially revealed the strongest Haki user ever and it's none other than Joy Boy.
Joy Boy's Haki is the strongest ever in one piece
Fans know very little about Joy Boy, but the Egghead arc One piece certainly shed some light on this character. Joy Boy was born in the Ancient Kingdom of the One Piece worldwhich was officially destroyed about 800 years ago. Eventually, under some mysterious circumstances, Joy Boy saw himself fighting against a collaboration of 20 kings who wanted to wipe out the ancient kingdom, presumably due to fear of its immense technology.

Joy Boy had the power of Gear 5 at his disposal, meaning he was a Nika Devil Fruit user at the time. However, his Devil Fruit was not his only weapon. Joy Boy also had tremendous Haki. A glimpse of this powerful Haki was given to fans when it was fully unleashed by Emeth in One Piece Episode 1153. It goes without saying that Joy Boy was powerful, but it's specifically his Haki that stood out to fans.
Undoubtedly, Joy Boy had the strongest Haki in all of One Piece. This Haki was strong enough to cause a solo rift in the sky, while even taking out Marine Vice Admirals who are generally strong enough to withstand powerful Haki blasts.
Not only that, but Joy Boy's Haki was so powerful that it nullified Imu's Devil Fruit abilities and sent all the elders back to Marijoa. Most of all, it made even Imu shudder and cry out in pain, making them remember the trauma that Joy Boy had caused them a long time ago. Unfortunately, fans have yet to see the full potential of Joy Boy's abilities, but One Piece is certainly setting the stage.
Only Shanks comes close to Joy Boy in terms of Haki
Currently, there are other Haki users who are considered quite impressive, but only just one of them is close to the level that Joy Boy was operating, and that is none other than the redheaded Shanks. When Joy Boy unleashed his powerful Haki, Dorry and Brogy directly compared this powerful Haki to Shanks.. The two began to wonder if it was stronger than the Haki of Shanks, and while the answer to that question is unclear, it is clear to fans that they are comparable.

in other words Shanks' Haki is so powerful that it makes Dorry and Brogy wonder which of the two is really better. The answer to that question is most likely Joy Boy, but the fact that Shanks can be compared to Joy Boy is a huge feat for Shanks himself. That means Shanks' Haki is very close to Joy Boy's leveland for all we know, it might even be on par.
We'll see how Oda deals with the situation later, but for now, Haki Joy Boy is another display of Shanks' immense power.
Joy Boy's full power will soon be revealed in one piece
The Mini Joy Boy flashback of the Egghead arc is officially over. Vegapunk's speech is also coming to an end soon, and fans know very well that they won't get much from Joy Boy until much later in the story. But if there's one thing that can be said with absolute certainty, it's that Joy Boy will eventually get his own flashback.
This may happen in the final arc of One Piece, but it will most definitely happen. When Joy Boy's flashback begins, fans really get to see the power he had and how he fought against Imo once upon a time and also the circumstances in which he died. All of them so far Joy Boy's true history will remain shrouded in One Piece.
