Some Diablo 4 fans are convinced Blizzard hid another Season 11 surprise in plain sight after the announcement Lord of Hate extension. Many believe this could be a heralding window for the next one Diablo 4 a class already confirmed to be on the way along with the recent addition of the Paladin.
In retrospect, there was enough evidence Diablo 4 was going to release the Paladin class as part of Season 11. Many players didn't believe it, as dropping an entire class without public testing is a potentially risky move. However, many players were still convinced that Paladin was coming, so it was no surprise when it fell alongside Season 11 at the recent Game Awards. It was also confirmed that Lord of Hate The expansion will feature a second new class when it launches in April, though Blizzard stopped short of confirming what it actually is. Some players think that the developer may have already told them when it will be announced.
Diablo 4 Season 11's Secret Altar Mystery Has Been Solved And Comes With Some Must-Have Rewards
Diablo 4 Season 11's biggest mystery has been solved, and players will want to find out for themselves what rewards they can get from the event.
Diablo 4 may get a second class announcement in February 2026
After official confirmation Diablo 4: Lord of Hate expansion at The Game Awards, Blizzard released a small roadmap of when players can expect certain things to be released. For example, in March 2026, the 12th season will start, as well as a new, currently unknown collaboration. But in response to the post, many players on X noticed that February 2026 has one event scheduled that is blocked by the explosion effect. This has led to a lot of speculation about what Blizzard has planned for February, and questions as to why they feel the need to hide any surprises they have in store for players, whether they're part of Season 11 or not.
The most likely theory is that there will be a revelation Diablo 4is the second Lord of Hate class. After all, it's no secret that it's coming, but Blizzard has to announce it sometime. Nothing is confirmed at the moment, but there has been speculation for some time that something like a witch or wizard could join the ranks of witches. Diablo 4 classes in the future. In Blizzard's initial post, there's a silhouette of the new class alongside the new Paladin, but it's almost impossible to tell what that will be. Still, the February announcement of a new one Lord of Hate the class feels very believable in terms of the timeline. This would give players two months to get excited about the class and give Blizzard the same amount of time to showcase it to fans before the expansion launches. Another shadow drop seems impossible as that would mean it's still in season 11. That would mark season 11 as one of the most content-filled seasons ever, and it would be hard to beat in the future, but it certainly doesn't feel like a clear cut option.
It's entirely possible that the February 2026 announcement is something else entirely. Timing-wise, a Season 12 PTR might make sense. However, given that neither the Spiritborn nor the Paladin were part of the PTR, it's unlikely that the third new class will be playable in this as well. Whether the PTR is valuable enough to get on this kind of hype roadmap (and be hidden as a surprise by Blizzard) is up for debate though. And with Blizzard already confirming a new collaboration coming in March 2026, another one being hidden for February also seems highly unlikely.
After a popular season 10 and a tough PTR period, it looked like it would Diablo 4 Season 11 was not set up for success. However, the release of Paladin seems to have helped shift public sentiment in favor of Season 11 and its major changes. Let's hope they keep this momentum going throughout the season and into the new year as Blizzard prepares to release Lord of Hate extension.
