Building a base in Palworld it takes time and dedication, especially if you want it to look as great as it works. However, until the Home Sweet Home update, you had to get creative with specific design elements. However, with this update you can now paint building parts and place triangular blocks.

We've come up with some fascinating build ideas to try out with all your new blocks. From complete base renovations to fun minigames to play with friends, here are the best builds you can create with the latest Palworld update! Be sure to try them.
Build the pyramids
If you've built a base for sulfur or coal in the desert, then you know how amazing a set of pyramids would look near a statue of Anubis or hidden in the sand. Using triangular building blocks, you can create a pyramid to protect your base from intruders and store items and stack Pal beds.
Of course it won't be easy. You will have to build a wide base and scale up with diagonal roof pieces, but the overall effect is great. Bonus points if you use a stone kit and paint it a dusty gold color to better blend in with the desert atmosphere. Opponents may not even know it's a base if you plan it well.
Winter stadium
You can create amazing works of translucent art with a glass kit, but why not do something exciting? Instead, place glass foundations around the snowy biomes and then use the fences to enclose the area. Use triangular bases to create more rounded corners.
With the glass on the ground, it will look like ice – especially if you paint it to look like frozen water with a light blue or green tint. While it will work as a normal base, you can dress it up to make it festive and create some holiday magic for your northern bases. You can also “unfreeze” it by removing the paint and make it look like an off-season lake.
Create a stained glass window
There are several ruined churches around the archipelago and you can use them as foundations for your base. Why not try rebuilding a ruined cathedral and install your own stained glass windows to highlight it? With triangular wall pieces, you can create a mosaic that sparkles when the sunlight hits it.
Of course, the details will be hard to tell without some practice and patience, but it's worth a try if you have the resources to spare. After all, how cool would it be to build your own followers in the Cathedral of Palworld? Use can rally his guildmates around him and work to expand his mission across the land.
Checkers game
With painting now unlocked, you can create a traditional chessboard or a chessboard to play on. Whether you use statues or your guild mates as playing pieces, you'll have a lot of fun here.
A uniform board takes up a lot of space, so it's a good idea to build it on an empty base if you have one, or turn off degradation and build it elsewhere. Consider using glass or stone for a smooth looking end result and don't forget to stain them in contrasting colors for easy play.
Rounded towers
By now you've probably tried to build a tower, only to end up looking like a giant box. If this was a problem, consider building a tower with triangular pieces in the corners. This creates a nice rounded effect despite not being round at all! Instead, you can have the aesthetic you want without compromising the functionality of a grid-based system.
You can also scale it down and build a functional silo, similar to the one you can place a decorative one. However, it holds all things related to food so that they do not spoil. Consider this build as another base if you tend to have a surplus of food.
Racing tracks
A more fun option for triangle pieces is to build a race track for you and your friends. Line up at the start and rush along the building blocks to reach the end of the loop on your favorite holds. It's a great way to test your skills and show off your buddy's traits, especially if you've farmed them to have infinite stamina or higher base speed.
These take up a lot of space, so it's a good idea to turn off off-base degradation so you can build a track to your specifications. The added challenge of fending off friends who fall on the track or driving through enemy camps makes the race that much more engaging.
Watch out for anti-aircraft zones if you don't want more chaos.
Mosaic floors
Similar to stained glass, you can also create patterned floors in your home. Currently, not all pieces can be painted, so if you want to paint to order, you'll have to use wood, stone or glass, but it's worth it to create aesthetically pleasing patterns on your otherwise bland floor.
Use color to create shading and contrast to give the entire structure more depth. Since you can fully customize the range of colors you use, it should be easy to adjust the colors as needed to create a stylish and eye-catching home palette.
Altar for Palbox
Why build a Palbox on the ground when you can create a base for it to rest on. Since you cannot build around the Palbox after it is placed, it is a good idea to prepare for it in advance. Create a deck or patio for it to sit on and use the triangle pieces to create the center. Since you can't place stairs along the triangular pieces when they go diagonally, be creative and design a framing effect and use steps that lead to the Palbox.
This way you can fully customize your base without the Palbox getting in the way, and you can build an altar that hides or at least elevates the pesky box so it doesn't ruin your aesthetic. Remember that the structure you build under the Palbox will essentially be permanent unless you want to deconstruct the base or deal with a floating Palbox.
Luxury greenhouse
With new glass and wood parts, you can create an amazing greenhouse for your gardening purposes. It's tall enough for most friends to get on and off without being obscenely large. Mixing tatami mats into the floor creates a grassy effect because they cannot yet be painted.
Don't forget to decorate the exterior with creeping ivy and floral decor, then fill the extra space inside with the same for an overgrown feel. Triangular pieces help create rounded corners to make the greenhouse look more whimsical and elegant. Plus, with glass windows, you can watch your crops grow without worrying about them being destroyed by raiders.
