Jujutsu Kaisen module has brought fans an absolutely incredible experience so far. The series showed fans exactly what Gege Akutami can do when he puts a lot of focus on world building and character writing. While JJK Modulo is a short manga, it's clear to see that the quality that Gege has hasn't dropped at all.

Right now, JJK Modulo is focused on building a conflict between humans and the alien Simurian race. With the conflict escalating, especially after the shooting of Cross, war seems inevitable. However, shortly before the war, fans will most likely see the conclusion of the duel between Yuka Okkotsu and Dabura. As things stand, this fight seems to be one-sided after that Yuka made a binding vow and called Mahoraga. Therefore, it is extremely necessary for the strongest witch to return and take her place. Of course, Gojo Satoru is dead and cannot fight Dabura, which he would like to do. in his place Yuji Itadori will have to step up one more time and show the world why he was Goya's disciple.

Yuji Itadori will return and fight against Dabura
It was already confirmed in JJK Modulo that Yuji Itadori is alive and well. In fact, he is stronger than ever, given that he has already been confirmed to be ageless. Yuji was the perfect vessel for Sukuna, so it makes sense that his body is special. In addition, it should be remembered that Yuji has consumed Death Paintings 4-9, meaning his body is no longer human and has stopped aging completely.

Based on all this JJK Modulo he told fans, it's quite clear Yuji Itadori will return at some point. After Yuka vs Dabura, his return would make no sense as he would no longer be needed. Only like that Yuji can actually come back in JJK is right now before the duel starts.

Yuka vs Dabura is quite an exciting battlebut a complete conclusion cannot be admitted absolutely for two main reasons. The first reason this battle can't be closed is because it would basically kill Yuka instantly. She only has three months left to live, and Tsurugi wants her to live those three months to the fullest. If Mahoraga defeats Dabura, it will kill Yuka because she is involved in the ritual. If not, then Dabura kills Yuka. In any case, she would die prematurely, even though she already has a very short life.

The second and most important reason why she can't be allowed to fully fight Dabura is because if she did, her goal of surpassing Yuta would not be fulfilled. Making a binding vow means forcibly empowering Yuka. It's not a natural progression of power, and it's clearly not what she wanted for herself. Yuji Itadori absolutely has to come back and show the world why he is the strongest wizard around, as well as save Yuca's life.
Yuji could have died fighting Dabura
Another reason why Yuji Itadori absolutely has to come back because that would wrap up his own character arc as well. In JJK Modulo, it was discovered that he could not die, and this made him sad for various reasons. The first main reason is that he can't fulfill his grandfather's last wish, and the second is that he can't stand having friends die around him all the time.

Yuji wants to break free from this prison, and fighting Dabur will be the perfect opportunity for him to do so. Dabura is the only living character who can kill Yuji in combatand therefore this struggle must necessarily take place. JJK will once again offer fans a clash of the strongest and it will definitely be a battle to watch.
A sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, runs in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series takes place 68 years in the future, after the events of the Shinjuku Showdown. The main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandsons of Yuta and Maki. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 17 will be released on January 4, 2026.
