Like Muzan Kibutsuji, Akaza, a recently deceased Upper Rank Three, does not need a weapon in active combat. He simply relies on his fists and legs to blow holes in his opponent's body, overwhelming them with brute strength, speed, regeneration and body manipulation to turn melee combat into a merciless barrage of Soryu-based martial arts attacks.
Akaza is a natural born martial artist, and when combined with his Blood Demon Art, Destructive Death, he becomes very adept at reading his opponents, quickly analyzing their strengths and weaknesses in battle. Even though Tanjiro and Giyu fought each other, they still tried to take down Akazu during the Infinity Castle Arc.
