Under Gyomei's watch, Genya has grown into a resourceful demon slayer who cannot be satisfied unless he shoots demons to death, not only to avenge his family, but also to prove his worth.

In addition to being able to fire a weapon, Genya Shinazugawa is a physically strong and highly durable fighter, famous for his habit of consuming demon flesh. This allowed him to gain demon-like regenerative abilities and strength without turning into a full-fledged demon.

Tengen Uzui is more than looks, charisma and flair. As the flashiest Hashiro, he's easy to underestimate, especially since characters known for showmanship are often assumed to have average strength in anime – but that couldn't be further from the truth here. In fact, Tengen Uzui defies expectations.

As Sound Hashira, Tengen ranks among the fastest fighters in the Demon Slayerable to blur in and out of his opponent's eyes. Instead of using traditional katanas in battle, Uzui Tengen prefers to use twin cleavers, which he wields with extreme speed and precision. In addition, he uses a variety of shinobi tools, including kunai and explosive beads, a clear nod to his ninja heritage.

Gyokko, Hanteng's partner in the raid on Swordsmith Village, has a unique way of killing his enemies on the battlefield. Although he also uses his fists in combat and can transform people into grotesque fish-like creatures, he relies primarily on his grotesque porcelain pots and vases to gradually and methodically eliminate his enemies.

Using his creations, Gyokko can transfer from one pot to another. He can even trap his victims in these vessels, regardless of their size, compressing them until their bones are crushed and they eventually die. Like Hantengu, Gyokko is an incredibly unpredictable opponent who relies on tricks and other forms of manipulation to achieve his goals.

Gyomei Himejima's chain weapons are made for heavy damage

Gyomei Himejima does not play in active combat. He swings his flail and ax with all his might and punishes some of the most powerful demons, including Muzan Kibutsuji, while reciting his traditional Buddhist chant “Namu Amida Butsu” (“I take refuge with the Buddha”). His training regimen is also not for the faint of heart, as even the likes of Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu have struggled to complete it.

As the strongest Hashira, Stone Hashira serves as one of the Demon Slayer Corps' last lines of defense against the Upper Moons and Muzan. Gyomei's strength is probably equal to two or three mid to lower upper moons, making him a nightmare opponent for most demons.

Hantengu's Split is made up of each with unique weaponry

During the Swordsmith Village Arc, Hantengu reveals several distinct forms, each with their own personality, abilities, and even weapons. From Sekido, who wields a Khakkhar staff that sends out devastating lightning attacks, to Karaku, who uses a giant handheld fan to unleash powerful gusts of wind, and Zohakuten, who summons devastating wooden dragons with drum beats on his back, Hantengu is a very versatile opponent whose split forms bring a unique fighting style to the battlefield.

It took the combined power of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya, and even Love Hashira to bring Hanteng down in Swordsmith Village. Had Tanjiro not applied the basic principles of Thunder Breathing that Zenitsu had taught him, Hantengu would likely have survived the encounter.

3

Akaza transforms fists and legs into deadly weapons

Like Muzan Kibutsuji, Akaza, a recently deceased Upper Rank Three, does not need a weapon in active combat. He simply relies on his fists and legs to blow holes in his opponent's body, overwhelming them with brute strength, speed, regeneration and body manipulation to turn melee combat into a merciless barrage of Soryu-based martial arts attacks.

Akaza is a natural born martial artist, and when combined with his Blood Demon Art, Destructive Death, he becomes very adept at reading his opponents, quickly analyzing their strengths and weaknesses in battle. Even though Tanjiro and Giyu fought each other, they still tried to take down Akazu during the Infinity Castle Arc.

At home, she endeared herself to Japanese war fans in battle. Instead of using fists like Akaza or twisted katanas like Kokushibo, Doma prefers to use gilded fans with beautiful lotus designs, perfect for his blood demon arts. With her deadly fans, she can slash her opponents in quick succession while unleashing deadly ice shards that cover the battlefield for long periods of time.

As a top rank two demon, Doma is an extremely high-level opponent, ranking just below Kokushibo, who fought four powerful demon slayers in the final stages of the Infinity Castle Arc. And speaking of Infinity Castle, that's where Doma mercilessly devoured Hashira's insects without breaking a sweat.

The last villain standing against Tanjiro and the surviving demon slayers, Muzan Kibutsuji, doesn't need a sword or fixed weapon to destroy his opponents. He simply uses all parts of his body to create weapons made from his flesh and blood, treating his near-immortal body as a flexible weapon system.

The only way to permanently put Muzan Kibutsuji to sleep is to expose it to direct sunlight. Otherwise, Muzan's body will regenerate no matter how much damage he takes, making him the ultimate villain that will be hard to deal with. And just when fans thought he was gone forever, Muzan Kibutsuji could still leave a lingering effect of his existence.
