OPM Season 3 Part 2 will be released in 2027
On December 28, 2025 One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 has been officially announced. This was also confirmed OPM Season 3 Part 2 will be released in 2027and it will again be produced by JC Staff. Prior to the announcement, fans were hoping that another project would tackle the next season/episode. There have even been rumors that Madhouse might return to produce a sequel.
Unfortunately, JC Staff will remain on duty. So there is a good chance that the next installment will be as terrible as the previous two. One thing fans should do is maintain respect for the staff and everyone else involved in the project. Regardless of the outcome, fans shouldn't harass employees on social media, especially when they've been primed for failure.
However, there is little chance that JC Staff will be able to get the next installment right as the studio will have more than a year to complete production. With enough time and resources, the studio can deliver an adaptation that fans will remember for years to come.
One Punch Man Season 3 was a major failure
Season 3 of One Punch Man did abysmally, and it wasn't just because of the subpar animation. No. Several factors contributed to his poor performance. Firstly, the animation was way off and it felt like the studio didn't put any effort into it. Second, there were certain instances in the episodes where the sequences felt more like a slideshow.
Finally, the third season of One Punch Man had absurd censorship. All of these reasons resulted in One Punch Man Season 3 failing miserably and receiving a rating of less than 5 on MyAnimeList.
One Punch Man is available to stream on Netflix.
