Final Fantasy 14 Players who haven't played the critically acclaimed MMORPG in a while now have the chance to do so as Square Enix has launched a free login campaign for players to enjoy. The Final Fantasy 14 the free login campaign is a limited-time offer that gives inactive players a few days of game time and allows them to try out the latest game content.
The return of the free signup campaign came as Final Fantasy 14 sustained a rough blow. From autumn 2025 Final Fantasy 14 regularly experiences distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against the game's North American data centers. The attacks intensified after the launch of the final level of Savage's raid on Arcadion on January 6. FF14 players have reported over a dozen DDoS attacks and disconnections. Server issues have been negatively impacted FF14 player performance in new instances of Savage raids, with some attacks costing raid teams a chance to win some boss battles. By January 8, attacks on Final Fantasy 14The servers went largely silent after several raid teams cleared Arcadion's Heavyweight Savage raids.

Once it expires, Final Fantasy 14 players can continue their adventures by renewing their game subscription through Mog Station with plans starting at $12.99 per month.
Return from Final Fantasy 14The free signup campaign coincided with the ongoing event as the annual Heavensturn festivities are now live until January 15th.
