2025 was a defining year for one of the biggest shonen series of the last decade, My Hero Academia. In the modern Shonen era, My Hero Academia has been a sensation since it first aired in 2016. Now, 10 years later, it has wrapped up the 8th season of My Hero Academia. Since her manga already ended two years ago, it might seem that My Hero Academia as a franchise is completely over. But that's not the case.

2026 will be a big year for MHA. It is officially confirmed that 4 big projects will come.
My Hero Academia is indeed coming back in February with a new project called My Hero Academia: All's Justice which is coming out on February 6, 2026.. It is a new video game that will allow fans to immerse themselves in the final arc of My Hero Academia and play as different characters. Fans are definitely excited about this new video game installment for the series.

My Hero Academia Season 8 Episode 11 was the finale
My Hero Academia was easily one of the most popular anime series of the past ten years. The first season of this series was absolutely brilliant, as were all subsequent seasons. However, all of them would pale in comparison to what the final season of My Hero Academia brought this year. My Hero Academia Season 8 was incredible, with next level direction and animation. While the final stretch of the story was brilliant and definitely an amazing ride, it was relatively short, only 11 episodes in total, and marked the conclusion of this beloved series.
When the story ended, fans could see Shigaraki vs Deku battles, just like Bakugo vs All For One featured in the last season. An 8-year timeskip was also shown, and at the end of it all, the Pro Heroes became the main characters. Even though My Hero Academia didn't end that long ago, the series already creates a sense of melancholy. Fortunately, there is more MHA content on the way, even if it's not a TV anime.

My Hero Academia: All's Justice releases on February 6, 2026 and, like its predecessor, will be a 3v3 battle video game.. Fans will be able to play as both heroes and villains, including characters such as Deku, Bagkugo, All For One, and Shigaraki, among many others.

My Hero Academia fans don't have to wait until February to buy this new game. Fans of the show will be happy to know My Hero Academia: All's Justice is now available for pre-order on most platforms. It is actually playable on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a Nintendo Switch release date at the moment.
My Hero Academia: All's Justice has three pre-order options for fans: Basic Version, Deluxe Version, and Ultimate Version.. All are available for pre-order at various prices on the platform of the fan's choice.
My Hero Academia Anime will officially make a major change to the manga
The anime is going to deviate from the manga and change the ending.
The basic edition contains only the base game, while the deluxe edition also has a season pass. The ultimate version includes both the things mentioned above as well as 7 HUD banner sets and lots of player costume packs.

A new MHA movie is possible
The new video game is definitely an exciting step forward for the My Hero Academia franchise, especially after the sad conclusion of its TV anime. But that's not the only thing My Hero Academia fans have to look forward to in 2026.
At the moment, My Hero Academia fans are actually streaming another TV anime and that is a spin-off anime known as My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.. Season 2 of Vigilantes started airing recently and fans should definitely catch it while it's still airing. This anime brings exciting new stories with new characters as well as some old faces like Aizawa.
in addition to My Hero Academia technically has one more installment in its original series. My Hero Academia: More is a special episode that will be released in March 2026and will officially adapt the true ending of the series that Horikoshi introduced in his next chapter, My Hero Academia Chapter 431. Fans are very excited to see what else the series has in store for them.
Of course, although it is not yet confirmed, some fans are also anticipating a new animated film. After all, Jump Festa 2026 has hinted that there are special projects that have yet to be announced. Fans will have to wait for more information regarding this topic in the coming months.
