It looks like one of the best RPGs of the modern era is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 isn't just any role-playing game, it's also great at making you feel like a medieval peasant. From odd jobs like blacksmithing and alchemy to getting busted by a lowly bandit, this game has it all; and soon you will be able to play it on Game Pass.
Xbox made the announcement in a rather cheeky way, making no mention of the game itself. But the mentions of “hunger” and the odd spelling of “delivery” are the main clues that KCD2 is coming to the subscription service. So if you haven't played one of the best games of 2025 yet, here's your chance.
KCD2 may be coming to Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass teased the arrival of KCD2 in a rather unusual way: a screenshot with an 'email' from someone named Melissa McGamepass. This is probably a fake person or one of the best coincidences in the gaming industry. The email revealed that some big titles will be coming to Game Pass.
“And speaking of upcoming releases,” the email said. “Well, I shouldn't say too much, but if you're getting pretty hungry for a fun adventure, all I can say is that something big is about to be unleashed on Xbox Game Pass…” If there's one video game protagonist who constantly talks about how hungry he is, it's Henry of Skalitz; and the spelling “deliverance'd” is also hard to miss.
While KCD2 left The Game Awards empty-handed, there's no doubt that it was one of the best games of the year. In fact, even a large part of the community admits that it might be too hard on the RPG elements for casual players. While there was an outcry over the rigged awards show, many fans were happy with the GOTY nominations and the game itself.
