Heartopia's Fashionwave Event takes the cozy living sim to the next level by adding a full line of winter exclusive content, including new recipes. From iced drinks to frosted pancakes and full-on banquet meals, this event gives cooking-minded players plenty to do. Fashionwave cooking works differently than normal cooking in Heartopiaalthough, and there is a lot to understand.

Fashionwave Cooking, explained
Fashionwave Event presents a a special set of seasonal recipes which are completely separate from standard cooking. These dishes are tied to the Winter Frost atmosphere. As you progress through the story of the Fashionwave Event, unlock new recipes naturally through conversations with NPCs.
What makes Fashionwave cooking unique is that each individual recipe is locked into a special cooking station called Penguin cooker. Even if you already have all the ingredients, the recipe simply won't appear if you don't interact with this cooker.
How to Unlock Penguin Cooker
Penguin stove will be available during Aurora Banquet quest line. You will not be able to craft or use it right away at the start of the event. Instead, you have to progress through Fashionwave's main quests until you reach a point where food preparation becomes part of the story.
At this stage you will be asked talk to Massimo near his bistro, which is located right in front of the winter stadium. During this conversation, Massimo explains that he is trying to prepare winter foods for the festival.
Talk to Massimo again and he'll give you the necessary Fashionwave recipes along with a plan for the penguin. To create a penguin you need one penguin token, ten wood and eight stones. Once created, you can place it in your home like any other cooking station. Note that you can only cook Fashionwave recipes on the Penguin Cooker (except for the Onsen Egg).
If you don't want to make one right away, you can use the Penguin Public Stove, which is located around the Massimo Bistro near the Ice Stadium. These stoves work exactly the same and can be used to complete all the cooking required. This way you can save some important resources that you will use later in the game.

White Radish Seeds will be available from Blanc once you reach the appropriate point in the event. They grow quickly, taking only fifteen minutes, making them relatively easy to breed.

How to unlock and cook the Onsen Egg recipe
Aside from these standard recipes that are cooked or prepared on the stove, the Onsen Egg is one such recipe that doesn't work as a standard mechanic. Instead, just buy pasteurized eggs from Masimo after you complete your Onsen Egg collection and head towards the Hot Springs area of Onsen Mountain to cook your Onsen Egg.
