Now one fan has built his own LEGO tribute Super Mario the most recognized villain of the franchise.

LEGO fan thelegoblacksmith showed off his impressive Bowser build on the LEGO subreddit. The stunning statue featured Mario antagonist in an intimidating pose, complete with adjustable limbs for scene changes. The LEGO Bowser kit was built from scratch as a MOC or My Own Creation, combining various pieces to form a classic. Mario rascal. Images of Bowser's build showed a positionable mouth for the LEGO statue, with the creator able to open and close Bowser's mouth using adjustable bricks. One image of the LEGO creation even features orange pieces inside Bowser's mouth, presumably representing fire breathing.

The stunning LEGO Bowser perfectly captures the fury of one of them Mario the franchise's biggest bosses. Bowser's build notably has no pupils, due to the white bricks used for his eyes, giving the statue a more intense and angry look. The LEGO Bowser statue also uses slanted white pieces to represent his claws, and even finds smaller slopes to account for the shorter claws on Bowser's thumbs. In the post, the Reddit user did not reveal how many bricks were used to complete the sculpture or how long it took to complete.
Bowser's impressive build comes as Mario the franchise has already received several official LEGO sets. Mario and friends received a wide range of LEGO sets, from Piranha and Mario and Yoshi plant statues to an interactive LEGO Mario level with a special Mario minifigure. Mario Kart also saw several themed LEGO sets of various characters with their signature go-karts, including Toad, Shy Guy, King Boo and more.

Cooperation between Mario the franchise and LEGO are set for a busy 2026 with several sets released and on the way. Luigi was the star of the first one Mario-themed LEGO set of the year, appearing in the Mach 8 vehicle from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Leaks also suggested that the main Mario set will be released in August, potentially debuting a Super MarioA set of LEGO themed arcade machines. Fans Mario and LEGO should have no shortage of new sets to build in 2026, with successful collaborations set to expand.
