Everyone who played Cyberpunk 2077 he knows the dangers of Night City, including the dangerous cyberpsychos that appear on its streets. Advanced artificial intelligence and augmentation combined with many Cyberpunk 2077 the gangs' propensities for violence and murder mean that anyone who walks its streets must be tough to survive. In theory, they are not alone. NCPD MaxTac (Maximum Force Tactical Division) exists as a special tactical operations team, an extreme Swat team that deals with cyber-psychotics and threats of a similar nature. Anyone who embarked on a massive crime spree Cyberpunk 2077 he knows how punishing MaxTac can be, but a brand new swat simulator is on Steam essentially putting players in the shoes of MaxTac themselves.
There are plenty of Swat simulators available in the gaming space, but few come close to replicating the high-intensity, instant decision-making and danger involved in Swat operations. Ready or not is one of the best swat simulator and it is new Steam game, so called Defectessentially borrows its gameplay loop, putting players in a MaxTac-like role and unleashing them into a cyberpunk dystopia.
Available to add to wishlist on Steam, Defect it's still in development, but everything emptyvessel shows is promising. Players essentially take on the role of a cyberpunk SWAT team as they face hostile AI and cyber threats from The System, the ruling AI. Its authoritarian rule created a police system under The System, a group of rogue cops or a series of gangs. Players will need to equip themselves with cutting-edge weapons and technology to complete tasks such as smuggling weapons, assassinating targets or arresting suspects.
Cyberpunk Swat Missions in Defect
While key details about its story elements are just bare for now, Defect details how co-op and PVP work (although co-op is not exclusive to PVP matches). Basically, each team enters a city/match with their own mission and represents a different interest. It is possible for mission objects to dynamically intersect with others, though not always. It's described as “four simultaneous co-op missions taking place in the same space” that sometimes directly contradict each other.

Unique cyberpunk systems are rooted in the game. For example, it is possible to kidnap enemy bodies.

Teammates or medical stations are needed to survive. Resource management is a must.

Each match reflects the state of the city as influenced by player objectives and interactions.
There are no laws here, only the System
One example of mission objectives for a Defect the team comes up with primary and secondary objectives that are blocked by progression. How or if players resolve these objects can determine how the next objective unfolds. Some goals already outlined could be ending the rogue AI, arresting high-priority targets, or completing the REPO (although it's not clear what that means at the moment).
For example, the System faction may attempt to extract valuable enemy data, reboot local systems to harm citizens and gangs alike, and otherwise remove any trace that they were ever there. Some FPS games fall down by having too few objectives that are too simple, but it's clear that Defect at least has an interesting handful already confirmed. There are even end states suggested as “Triggered by a state of neural failure.”

Defect Grants a premium to play and immerse yourself in the game
Where simulation games can live or die is how well they simulate the experience. Ready or notThe simulation of SWAT scenarios helps take this game to the next level, while the deep lore and design of the city Cyberpunk 2077 to help the world feel realistic, though probably more dystopian than the real world. Combining the two is no doubt a tall order, but Defect he is well aware of this fact.
World Defect is a smog-shrouded city where AI has abused the population to the brink of self-destruction. To reflect this, his city looks and feels like a war zone. “Every back alley, every hole in the wall and every rooftop” is designed with collective defense in mind, according to the developer, adding to the immersion and tactical scenario. Its maps and areas are designed in a similar way.
One example is the Wall, a narrow gunfight area surrounded by some sort of factory – presumably powered by the System. Next are the graffiti-strewn sewers that are oppressive in smell, sight and construction, while there are several living spaces for people under the System's thumb. Even simple spaces like the boiler room or the place marked corner 2B are carefully designed. The benefit is two-fold: players feel oppressed by the system and the fights will be hard pressed, as swat simulator fights should be.
Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and Swat Simulator should beware of the defect
The idea and execution of a game are, of course, two completely different processes. It will be interesting to see how well Defect it is capable of fulfilling its own goals and promises, but the sheer inspiration of such a game should inspire fans to watch it closely. Among the strengths Cyberpunk 2077 as part of the genre and tightness befitting shooting and la Ready or not, Defect it could be something special…if it doesn't fall into the system, that is.
