ARC Raiders it has a lot of hidden mechanics and many players ignore that Spotter Relay has a secret tactical use that can become a huge asset in PvP. Turns out you can use Spotter Relay to draw aggro from any nearby ARC on enemy players.

Doing so will cause ARC enemies such as Wasps, Hornets, Rocket Launchers, or even Spotters and Bombers to focus on a single target (or many if players deploy different spotter relays). In this guide we will explain how to get Spotter Relay and how to use them for PvP purposes.

How to get and use Spotter Relay in ARC Raiders

IN ARC RaidersSpotter Relays are earned by defeating Spotters, several ARC drones that always appear around the Bombardier, and when they detect nearby players, they tag them with a laser, causing the nearby Bombardier to immediately target them with ammunition. Defeating Spotters isn't hardand once defeated Bombardier loses most of its tracking capabilitiesbut that doesn't mean it's harmless.

what's more Spotters will constantly refresh every few minutes to give players the ability to “farm them”, by constantly destroying them and then collecting the batons once the Bombardier is defeated.

The Spotter Relay is an item that has a 'Recyclable' category but can be equipped with an active Gear Slot and it is used like any grenade. Like Hornet Drivers and Wasp Drivers, they can and will be thrown target the nearest player when hitting the floor. This means that players who use Spotter Relay can also be targeted if they are not careful.

Using Spotter Relay on another Raider is considered an “Aggressive Action” and will contribute to the player's PvP score, meaning they will be marked for PvP queues in the next Matchmaking.

Spotter Relay can also be used in tandem with Snitch Scanners (which work similarly) to summon an infinite amount of Wasps and Hornets and unleash hell on other Raiders by tagging them and channeling aggro.

Be careful though, as this strategy can fail very quickly and a horde of Wasps and Hornets can easily kill a fully protected raider, even with a Heavy Shield on.
