Xbox Game Pass subscribers suddenly have a brand new First Game Day to look forward to at the end of the month.

Dispatch is flying to Xbox this summer

Although Send was not initially launched in the Xbox ecosystem, the wait for Xbox players will soon be over. During the Xbox Partner Preview live stream on March 26, developer AdHoc Studio confirmed this Send will launch on Xbox consoles in the summer of 2026. The release window also includes Xbox for Windows, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Play Anywhere. All of them Send's episodes will be available on Xbox once the upcoming port is fully released. However, AdHoc Studio has not confirmed the exact release date Send's Xbox port and did not list Xbox Game Pass among the new offerings.

From Send joins the Xbox Play Anywhere ecosystem, only one purchase is required to play the game on PC, consoles and supported handhelds, including save data and achievements. Xbox port Send it is co-developed by PlayEveryWare, who previously helped with the port Send on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, including work on Unreal Engine modifications and performance optimizations for each system. Since summer lasts from late June to mid-September, SendThe Xbox port will arrive some time before the game's first anniversary.

Part SendThe success was that it gave fans a compelling story and had no microtransactions. According to a November 2025 interview, this was stated by co-creators Dennis Lenart and Chris Rebbert SendIt was successful on PC and PS5 thanks to a linear and focused narrative that “didn't stop microtransactions” and SendThe episodic nature of the game constantly gave players a reason to come back and play through its story. During the first release window, Send released two episodes a week for a total of eight episodes. At the time of writing, all eight Send episodes can be played in full on all supported platforms.

Sending to Xbox has one big question that needs to be answered

The Dispatch port on Nintendo consoles has visual censorship turned on by default Image via AdHoc Studio

Before starting it, Send'The Xbox port will have the answer to one lingering question about the game's censorship history. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 ports Send were censored in some cutscenes and promotional artwork, and this fact was only communicated by Nintendo or AdHoc Studio after the ports had already been released. After rounds of criticism from fans, AdHoc Studio apologized for not moving forward with its decisions and said it would work with Nintendo to resolve the censorship dispute while still abiding by Nintendo Store policies. Since the PC and PS5 versions Send keep all game content uncensored, it remains to be seen if the Xbox version Send will or will not be censored.

SendThis storyline left fans wanting another season of the hit superhero title. Although AdHoc Studio has not officially confirmed whether Send will get a second season, the development team said they would “think about it.” WITH Send will soon be available on Xbox, time will tell if the superhero epic game will see a second season.
