Dying Light: The Beast it just received Hotfix 1.6.1 and has a healthy number of improvements that should leave players feeling full for longer – at least in-game. A new update follows Dying Light: The Beast'with the massive Restored Land DLC that brought major changes to how players react to the game. In the new DLC, players permanently clear areas of zombies, allowing other survivors to return. The update also added a lot of additional free content Dying Light: The Beast.
It came out last fall, Dying Light: The Beast follows original protagonist Kyle Crane after he breaks free from captivity and uses a set of new abilities to work his way through his quest for revenge against his former captor. Since its launch, it has been well received by both fans and critics Dying Light: The Beast warmly, with many citing Crane's new powers and overall increased brutality as a positive step for the franchise. With plenty of post-launch support for the game, it seems like the sky is the limit to what it can achieve if developer Techland keeps up the updates.

Dying Light: The Beast is here to satisfy your hunger
With Hotfix 1.6.1, Techland makes a number of changes Dying Light: The Beast'with hungry mechanics. Players will now see a lower hunger drain while sleeping, as well as a lower overall hunger drain. Additionally, it will take longer to get to Very Hungry and Starving, and vendors will offer upgraded food bars. With these changes, players should find themselves dealing with Crane's hunger much less regularly, giving them more freedom to play Dying Light: The Beast'with a crawler-like map.
Of course, that's not all Techland has cooked up. In addition to changes to the hunger mechanic, players can now upgrade weapon blueprints from DLC packs to Legendary rarity, making them much more useful overall. Should these or other weapons cause a player's stash and inventory to overflow, their lowest quality weapon will now drop to the ground. There's also a rich selection of other changes in the full patch notes.
For a while, Techland has committed to post-launch support, releasing an 11-week plan for Dying Light: The Beast back in October. These updates gave players plenty to come back to, with standard changes such as the New Game Plus mode and another difficulty setting, Nightmare, being released during this window. Some players cite the legendary grind from the ending of the vanilla version as a bit too rough additions like New Game Plus have gone a long way to ensure players have easier access to loot.

Developer support like this is crucial to keeping a game's community alive, so it's good to see Techland responding to player feedback with regular changes. Of course, this level of support is nothing new for the franchise. Each game has received a healthy number of updates and DLC since launch, the latest example being the plethora of Restored Land features. If Techland can keep it up, Dying light fans have a lot to look forward to in the future.
