Lord of Hatred Intro Gameplay Revealed

Spoilers for Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hate follow.

Diablo 4 revealed almost 12 minutes Lord of Hate gameplay with cunning deception, new enemies and of course gratuitous violence. Mephisto has the upper hand in this Diablo 4 expansion arriving on April 28, 2026.

The first 12 minutes of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred looks amazing

To build hype for the new expansion, Blizzard has revealed just under 12 minutes of gameplay footage from the beginning of the game. Lord of Hate. The Pilgrim meets Lorath Nahr at the docks as they book passage to Skovos. While there, they find the preacher Hand of Akarat, who heralds his master by announcing an upcoming sign in the form of an eclipse. Lorath and the Wanderer discuss Mephisto and his plans Diablo 4but they are interrupted by the same priest who is besieging their ship. The Pilgrim battles a variety of new enemies, including merfolk, aquatic aberrations, crabs, and sea serpents, before confronting the Hand of Akarat, which, after being briefly possessed by Mephisto himself, transforms into the terrifying Hateborn Abomination.

This is not the first teaser Diablo 4 gave the players a head start Lord of Hate. About a week earlier she had released a movie called “The Queen and The Saint” which featured Akarat and Adreona, the Skovos Amazon Queen. Clearly, Mephisto is an enemy unlike any other Diablo history. The Lord of Hate's ability to manipulate and deceive the masses makes him a dangerous foe; he uses Akarat's face, has legions of followers willing to die for him, though only his inner circle knows the truth about his nature. How players travel to Skovos Diablo 4: Lord of Hatredthey will have to deal not only with the minions of Hatred, but also with the mortals that Mephisto has tricked into believing that he is indeed the Shepherd of Light reborn.

Lord of Hate will finally end the Age of Hatred in a climactic showdown against Mephisto—and players will even have to work with Lilith herself to do so. Behind this new story and the Skovos zone, Lord of Hate adds two classes: Paladin, which is playable right now, and Warlock, when it is Diablo 4 the expansion comes out on April 28th. Reworked skill trees for each class, a loot filter, a customizable War Plans progression system, an endless Echoing Hatred game mode, a fishing minigame, and the return of the Horadric Cube are just some of the main features that fans can look forward to in this expansion. From the exciting story to the revamped ending, it seems like Lord of Hate will have something for everyone.
