small Xbox the digital showcase has been teased from various sources and will apparently take place over the next few days. Xbox fans already have a lot to look forward to, as some major games are set to release on the platform before the end of 2026. Between the company's own in-house developers and third-party partners, a wide variety of games are on their way to the Xbox Series X/S.
The next major game released on Xbox isn't too far away. Forza Horizon 6 is due out on May 19 for PC and Xbox Series X/S. The previous game was a huge success for the Xbox and first impressions of it Forza Horizon 6 were positive. Several years after the game's launch, Forza Horizon 5 released last April on PS5. The series quickly found an audience on Sony's platform, and PlayStation fans won't have to wait nearly as long for a sequel Forza Horizon 6 will be released on PS5 later this year.
Xbox makes big changes to the results
Xbox insiders can get a glimpse of the major achievement changes now, but everyone else has to wait a little longer for the launch.

On a new episode of the Septic Sauce podcast, insider Jez Corden claimed that Xbox “might” have something next week. Corden was asked by Gaz if this means Xbox will have something to show during the rumored PlayStation State of Play in April. However, Corden was quick to note that this is “their own show” and will have something for gaming fans “in general.” In a post on Twitter, The Verge's Tom Warren followed up on Corden's comments, saying that fans should expect to see an ID@Xbox show. This means we'll focus on indie games coming to Xbox Series X/S as well as other platforms.
Xbox hasn't officially confirmed the existence of the show, but with multiple sources claiming it, it's possible that an official announcement will be made soon. A show focusing on smaller games would make sense as the Xbox Games Showcase has already been confirmed for June 7th. With the big event coming up in less than two months, the company is likely to avoid making any big announcements until then.
While fans shouldn't expect to hear new information about AAA games like Gears of War: E-Day or Fableit's possible that the next ID@Xbox could still be something to get excited about. Indie titles have always been part of the appeal of Game Pass, strengthening the service's offerings beyond the games offered by major publishers. ID@Xbox events typically focus on titles that will be offered as part of Game Pass, often on day one. Some brand new games could be shown for the first time ever, as well as updates to those that have already been announced.

A new era begins on Xbox. Asha Sharma took over from Phil Spencer as head of Xbox earlier this year, and there have been a few other changes at the company. How the changes in leadership will affect the company and what will happen to the new system code, called Project Helix, remains to be seen. Sharma and Microsoft have a lot to prove, and the next few months should give fans an idea of where things are headed.
